It was fine. I needed somewhere to stay for work, it had a private room and all the things it said it had.

Comfortable bed it just rolls around you lose you pillows while you sleep. The wifi needs an extender or something because I had to use my phone wifi. So it's pricey for no wifi and a bed that rolls around everywhere.

The tv situation was very poor so I went to bed early, but struggled to sleep as there was only one cover and I was cold. There was no cutlery so I had to tear the food apart with my teeth, and eat with my fingers. There was no bin in the kitchen. Near the bed was a tiny bin but the plastic infill was too small and fitted like a drum skin and wouldn't hold any rubbish
The place was very clean. The staff was very nice
But not brilliant.

The hotel is located right across from the Ringwood train...
The hotel is located right across from the Ringwood train station and it is also on top of a big shopping centre which is handy. The hotel is also driving distance to many restaurants in surrounding suburbs like Doncaster and Box Hill etc.

We visited darrell Lee chocolate factory shop. Eastland 4 times for lunch and the kids wanted to shop. The kids wanted to go to Rush HQ. They enjoyed seeing family close by and see family twice a year. The Nightcap in Manhattan all you can eat was a blast went twice as it was fantastic.

A quirky motel in a location that suited my purposes. Definitely useful for those on a budget but don't expect too much. Would stay here again. Proprietor, Max, is a battler taking on most tasks himself and is very obliging. Some rooms appeared to be undegoing renovation. Facilities are basic.

On a return we would try for a ground floor apartment as we are elderly. This time we had younger family members to assist with luggage on the stairs.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment, and it was fantastic. It has been recently renovated, and all of the furniture was very comfy. The bed was so soft!! Even though this is a hotel and function centre, we were not disturbed by any noise (guests or music). We didn't try the bar or restaurant due to what we already had planned, but we were given vouchers for them. Would happily stay here again! :-)

Personal hospitality and care was brilliant. Susan was extra helpful as we attempted to sort out booking problems between Booking.com and Expedia.com. Still not resolved. Would stay with Motel Ringwood owners again but never again booking with Booking.com
