it has a nice area for relaxing outside if the weather is fine, easy to find, and not that far away from apollo bay for entertainment and eating experiences that are fabulous.
it is comfortable and good for staying when exploring the great ocean road and surrounding areas.

Well equipped home in quiet location but close enough to everything. Enough comfortable lounge chairs for everyone. Wifi, netflix. Well equipped with everything you need, didnt use it but even an air fryer. Loves being able to take the dog with us. Good heating options even in the bedrooms. Would stay again.

The position is good if you are exploring - perfectly placed...
The position is good if you are exploring - perfectly placed along the great ocean road on your wait to or from the 12 apostles - however there is really not much to do, neither in Marengo nor in Apollo Bay to be honest. If you are going back toward Melbourne you might want to stop in Lorne, which is a really pretty town, or if you are going in the other direction, I suggest you push through and go directly to Port Campbell.

Marengo family caravan park is a beautiful park right on the beach, there is so much bird life and other guest appearances here from koalas, wallabies and a near by seal colony, nature at its finest. I stayed in a sea view cabin and it had all the basics for a great stay. It’s a peaceful place away from the hustle and bustle of city life and if your looking to relax then this is perfect. You are literally a 50-100 metre stroll onto a beautiful beach. Depending on your tastes Dragon bay Chinese restaurant is nice too if you like Chinese food, I had the Mongolian lamb and honey pepper lamb and it was really nice so worth treating yourself too, there are a couple of really nice coffee shops side by side about 100 metres up from the Local IGA one was Sandy feet I think, they do great coffee and bacon and egg rolls etc. So I think the only downside for me was having to leave

OMG what a view!!! Fantastic location, clean, comfy beds with fresh linen and towels. Kitchen is well equipped with Crockery, cutlery, glasses and serving dishes, Foil, baking paper and cling wrap. Host was easy to communicate and negotiate with for Keys and other information. About 3km to the town centreOnly booked for 1 night and was sad to have not booked an extra night or 2...maybe 3. Highly recommended:) Would book again.
Disliked · Would have liked to see a coffee machine at the house. Would be great to have a small carton of milk available for guests whom have late check-in as shops may not be open. Alternatively advise on the bookings.com that persons to bring milk and that no coffee machine is available. but this is my opinion as it would be great to sit on the balcony having a cup if great coffee and enjoying the views, sound of the ocean and to appreciate the beauty that surrounds this property.
