The place was just stunning. Definitely a lot more than I expected, the people and staff, the views, the meals, the place itself and history behind it was all excellent.

Good location to explore the Grampians. Hosts Cate and Tom are very welcoming, reponsive and helpful.
There was a door banging noise coming from the shared bathroom facilities. This was resolved the very next day as soon as we mentioned it to the hosts.
Featuring garden views, Pomonal Estate Villas features accommodation with patio, around 37 km from J Ward Museum. There is a private entrance at the villa for the convenience of those who stay.
A wonderful farm location. The weather was not so good but we enjoyed sitting next to the wood heater, looking out the large picture windows at the amazing scenery. The farm looks onto the Major Mitchell Plateau in the southern Grampians. It is a very relaxing place to stay.

The walking trails only a few kms from the property were...
The walking trails only a few kms from the property were very interesting with plenty of wallabies passing through and the original gold mine shafts to check out. Kangaroos and emus wandering around the property plus friendly cows, plenty of native birds and wildlife. Short scenic drive into Halls Gap for lunch and supplies. Dirt roads leading up to the property but still fine for regular 2wd cars. Cabin itself has a farm fence around it so great for keeping the young kids close by plus the huge verandah around the cabin made for a perfect outdoor space to watch the stars at night.
