The room is well-equipped, comfortable and has everything you need. Excellent location, right on the riverbank and a great walking trail along the river. The receptionist who welcomed me was attentive and eager to make my stay at the motel pleasant.

The cabins were in great condition, clean and tidy with lots of bedding and towels, good kitchen, air conditioning - great set up. The grounds were well looked after, the pool and jumping pillow were very popular with the kids. You can walk to the beach, but it was easier to drive 5 minutes down the road to be closer to the flags.

I only stayed one night as I was on my way to meet friends...
I only stayed one night as I was on my way to meet friends for an organised event. I took the opportunity to stay at Aireys Inlet as I wanted to do some photography. I took the opportunity to sample some of the wares at Salt brewery before dining at A la Grecque with was a gem and highly recommended.
Could of quite happily spent another day or two exploring from here.

Lovely little coastal town, the beaches are amazing, clean and dog friendly, it was lovely watching the pooches playing in the sea. The beach walks were relaxing, the general store well stocked and the SLSC a lovely meal.

Aireys Inlet has the beach and it also has the Otway forest.
Aireys Inlet has the beach and it also has the Otway forest. Great all around the year. A smaller town than some along the Great Ocean Road but it has all you need.

Loved the walks in the area, along the coast and to Ironbark Gorge. We were delighted to go up Split Point Lighthouse. Lovely places to relax over a coffee or meal, especially in the top area where the Sunnymead Motel is situated.

The sea and the views are amazing.
The sea and the views are amazing. However, the hospitality facilities were completely shut down and the was nothing available for a meal or a cup of coffee. This is not acceptable in full holiday season, even if it was Christmas!

What an absolute gem. I travelled here on a whim after spending a day for work in Colac and felt like I was in a Boutique Hotel. Everything from the lux bed and pillows, to the happy decor, to the Herbalist shampoo, conditioner and body soap stocked in the bathroom made my one night stay amazing. Also a short walk to cafes and the lighthouse where I went for sunrise. Could not fault my stay and will definitely be back!
We had such a lovely stay at Sunnymead Hotel. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Sarah who was super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and we loved the design and the extra thoughtful touches.
We booked in at 'The Coast' restaurant (which was delicious) and we were driven there and back by the owner of the hotel and restaurant. It really was above and beyond and we had such a lovely evening :)
Staff were helpful & friendly, the hotel & room itself was bright & modern & decor was lovely. Thoughtful additions of some card games was a lovely touch. Location was great & peaceful. Would be great in summer with the pool & spa. Rooms were ideal for a couple & overnight stay.
Fabulous location, close to beach, surrounded by bush, paras-sailing launch pad, visited by birds, all wonderful. Aireys Inlet & Lorne nearby to grab a bite to eat.
Excellent provision to cook or bbq. Lots of room for a group of friends to breakout into.
