It's easy to drive from there to the many lakes in Carinthia...
It's easy to drive from there to the many lakes in Carinthia, as well as to Klagenfurt, and the hosts provide an abundance of catalogs and brochures on what else there is to do in the region. But it's also an absolute pleasure to just stay home, sit outside by the pool and have a swim, or just relax indoors.
We are self catering, so we did our own shopping, and supermarkets are within a few minutes drive. The kitchen is very well equipped so we could cook whatever we wanted to cook.
We can't wait to go back! Truly!

Free hotel beach spot with free of charge changing rooms, toilets, chairs, umbrellas and paddle boards. Plus there was a bar with some food and drinks at the beach as well.
The door to the bathroom were actual wooden door, providing more privacy.
Big balcony with drier - helped with drying swim suits.
Good location, next to the town (super market, restaurants) and 15 minutes from Klopeinersee lake.
Dinner in hotel's restaurant was good and maybe a bit too luxurious looking.
Personel spoken English on most occasions.
We arrived in the hotel a few days before end of the season. There were only a few guests in the hotel, we nearly had the whole spa and saunas for ourselves! The staff was really nice, we never had the feeling of being "the unwanted last guests right before season ending".
The new sauna and spa area is spacious, very clean. Our highlight was the lake sauna with a great view on the Klopeiner See.
The rooms were tidy with modern bathrooms.
Breakfast was plentyful.
The owners of the hotel were amazing in trying to help and satisfy any possible need we had! They prepared an early breakfast for us when we needed to leave sooner, they were really caring and involved, happy to help any of their guests... I also liked the beautiful garden around, the private beach with the warm lake and a really big wellness possibilities...
the owners greeted us on arrival, showed us the very nice rooms with personal touches. They also showed us the fridge, stocked with beer, wine and soft drinks and an honesty pad to write the items taken. Great host, lovely hotel. The breakfast was superb, good coffee, fresh fruit, rolls, boiled eggs, yoghurts etc. Wonderful!
The room clean and comfy bed. Luft cool without clima but nice sleep and it was up to 30 ⁰C. Breakfast and dinner excellent, lot of different food and dinner ( sup, dinner,salat and dezert). Near city center but quiet place, 10 minut to privet beach. Very friendly hotel with dog, 1 minut to walk to other Lake,nice with dog
