Especially loved the card for Zanzibar Beach access, which is a perfect spot on the lake that has everything you need. Garden at Landhaus Klopein is lovely and peaceful. Just perfect! It's easy to drive from there to the many lakes in Carinthia, as well as to Klagenfurt, and the hosts provide an abundance of catalogs and brochures on what else there is to do in the region. But it's also an absolute pleasure to just stay home, sit outside by the pool and have a swim, or just relax indoors.
We are self catering, so we did our own shopping, and supermarkets are within a few minutes drive. The kitchen is very well equipped so we could cook whatever we wanted to cook.
We can't wait to go back! Truly!
Hotel Tulpe is in a great location to the lake and offers very good value for money. The host is super friendly and helpful. The hotel offers free coffee and some drinks are provided in the lounge area. No breakfast is served but the restaurant/hotel across the road offers a buffet breakfast. Our e-bicycles were stored in a safe garage.
This was the third year we stayed in this lovely hotel. It may be a bit dated and the rooms are basic, but the wonderful owners and the pleasant location make this one of our favorite places to stay. The private access to the lake allows for a nice swim. Tasteful breakfast.
