The hotel is very nice. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and cheerful.
The best impression was from the restaurant - we had our best Viennese Schnitzel in this restaurant, out of many other places, including very fancy restaurants in Vienna. All of the food was delicious, and their home-made bread was simply amazing!

We chose it as a stopover to go to Hallstatt and it was the perfect location. The rooms were very clean and spacious.
There was a small Christmas market right in front of the hotel which was charming.

A friendly helpful owner greeted us warmly on our late arrival. The kitchen was closed and there were no nearby restaurants so she baked us ham and cheese croissants while we unpacked our bags. Above and beyond. This quaint Austrian hotel was a wonderful surprise nestled high on a hillside near a historic castle. At our lovely breakfast in the morning the owner came running to our table to alert us of a local band playing and marching up the street right by the hotel. We loved our stay and would recommend it highly!!
