Hosts were very friendly and responded to our call right away. We arrived late and had to leave early and both times were quick to meet us. The breakfast was amazing all home made (other than hot dogs). Neighbourhood cats kept is company on the terrace. Also was fun to see the local cows walk the streets in the morning.

I loved the location or the resort and I appreciated the friendly staff. The hotel restaurant was good but there are times when bus groups stop and have a meal so it is best to ask if you have a particular time you want to eat. I didn't have a problem because I didn't have a set agenda. I did not realize it would be so rainy but I still was able to get gorgeous autumn views and I really enjoyed the Wings of Tatev which weren't far but you need transportation - the hotel staff can help with that. Mostly, it was a great place to read.

Overall the trip to Halidzor from Yerevan is very pleasant. Yes, in some parts the road isn't good, but as soon as you pass "Zanger", the gates of Syunik province, the view gets amazing! And it's one of my favorite roads to ride in terms of the view ^_^
