Beautiful apartment in a historical building, right in the middle of the Berat, beneath the castle. The room was clean and comfy and the breakfasts delicious. The owner personally waited for us until very late at night because our flight was delayed by many hours, even though he had his own flight to catch the following day, I really appreciate this. Great place to stay in Berat.

Two full days is plenty of time to explore Berat. The castle is worth a visit maybe a taxi up and walk down as its very steep. The two bridges are nice to walk over and the view at night is wonderful. A nice reasonable restaurant is Friendly House the restaurant is upstairs and looks out over the river.

Berat is definitely on of the cool city on my list.
Berat is definitely on of the cool city on my list. It will be great to hire a tour guide for the explanation and exploration around the old castle area.
Based on the local suggestion, every year, there is an event called epiphany on Jan 6. It will be super good if you can witness this wonderful event.
Berati Castle Hotel is a beautifully renovated traditional house. We enjoyed very much our stay there. The location is perfect, inside the charming Castle of Berat, sorrounded by ancient, renovated houses and beautiful old churches. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the best you can get. They are decorated with beautiful artisan work. The staff is very friendly, they serve a tasty, traditional Albanian food at the restaurant. Breakfast is included in the price. We will deffinitely come back to this hotel.
This was the best hotel experience I had in Albania! Conveniently located within the narrow hilltop streets of Mangalem, you are right in the beautiful historical district of Berat. Hani i Xheblatit has so much charme: old historical rooms beautifully decorated and the views of the terrace or the balcony are amazing!
My highlight: the breakfast! Plenty of food, made with a lot of love! Very delicious!
The staff was more than nice and tried to help even when there was a language barrier.
Perfect accommodation for your stay in Berat. Everything is very new and clean, there is freshly made breakfast every morning, and the hotel is right in the centre of the old town. To make the stay even better, the host is very friendly and helpful. He even has his own tea, wine and Raki (the traditional Albanian drink) which we could drink during our stay.
Hotel is in the old town of Berat, in a very beautiful location on one of the cobbled sloping streets. Breakfast is varied and you have an amazing view from their terrace. The staff are so so helpful - they organised a really excellent value taxi for us to a local winery, and brought us fruit on the terrace when we were relaxing there one afternoon!
A lovely family owned hotel in Berat. They have private parking next to the hotel which made our stay very comfortable. The breakfast is good and it was particularly nice to try some Albanian variety of breakfast. Good location and very quiet area during the night. They accept card. We had no complaints.
