From the very first sight it was obvious to us that this beautiful cottage is designed and build with much thought and love - it's not too much and not to little, it truly matches the name "Pura Vida"! The living room is so light and spacious and spreads a wonderful warm energy with all the mindfully choosen details. Beds and linen are very comfortable and the surroundings are so peaceful to sleep deeply and waking up fresh. The kitchen is perfectly equipped, so beautiful kitchen ceramics, and on top surprised us with the luxury of delicious cookies, teas and coffee as well as spices and oil. We also truly loved the outdoor bathroom with the shower with mountain views and its beautiful high quality uniqueness. Everything at that place is so very welcoming and provides the perfect base to unwind and enjoy. The outdoor area with the big terrace with an eating area and a very comfortable sofa facing that million dollar mountain view is hard to leave, and in the evenings we enjoyed campfires under the beautiful starry sky lulled in by the sounds of nature. Wandering around in the big garden area is diving in natures abundance. What also makes this place a pure gem is the host Caroline and her family. From the very first minute we felt so warmly welcome and Caroline really goes extra miles for her guests. Thank you so much for your sharing this beautiful space with us, it's truly Pura Vida! Also thank you for everything - all the recommendations that totally met our needs, for providing us with fresh organic vegetables, eggs and taking care of our laundry. You and your place will stay in our hearts!

El Old Farmhouse Cottage ofrece alojamiento con zona de cocina en Kareedouw, a 5,1 km de la estación de tren de Kareedouw y a 7,5 km de la estación de tren de Melkhoutkraal. This is an absolute must stay! The farm is unbelievably beautiful, and Michelle and Gary (the owners) are the best hosts you can wish for. The views are breathtaking, and the room (we stayed in the Valley View Room) is beautiful and super clean. The bathroom was a particular highlight. The owners are lovely and so helpful - they really made us feel like we were at home (Gary even helped us with the braai, as both of us were absolute beginners!). If you're passing through this part of South Africa, I highly recommend you stop here. Make sure you're staying enough nights to properly enjoy the property - there are even nice hikes to do from the farm itself. 13/10!!! P.s. the 2 dogs are an added bonus if you like dogs - the best boys you'll ever meet

El Boutique Vintage Forest Cabin ofrece alojamiento en Stormsrivier, dentro de un bosque de humedales autóctonos. Esta cabaña construida a mano cuenta con una gran terraza y vistas a las montañas. Very unique experience. We all loved the outdoor shower :) and the warm welcome.

El histórico Assegaaibosch Country Lodge, situado en la ruta 62, tiene como telón de fondo la cordillera Kouga y se encuentra en Kareedouw. Cuenta con restaurante, bar y pileta al aire libre. Very friendly and accommodating breakfast was top-notch.

El Mountain Breeze Log Cabins se encuentra en una granja Protea en funcionamiento y ofrece vistas a la cordillera de Tsitsikamma, parque infantil y zona de parrilla. Un sitio espectacular en frente de las montañas, cerca de un montón de actividades. Las cabañas están genial y el personal es muy amable.

The staff couldn't have been more helpful if they'd tried! If you wanted a model for great service Claire and Megan and the rest of the staff are the examples to follow! Nothing was too much trouble. They prepared a BBQ for us when my little boy asked for a fire, they facilitated everything we could ask for and more. This accommodation was a delight to stay at and made exceptional by some of the friendliest and most helpful staff I've met! We'd highly recommend this stay to everyone!
