Zur Alten Mine is situated 5 km outside of Graskop. Guests can walk around the dam in the gardens or hike up to the old mine. It’s very well located, we where well received by the host. Gave us support, as we had some issues with our car and waited after the check in hours! Awesome space and view! And the best part the dogs 😁

Set in Marloth Park, 17 km from Crocodile Bridge and 45 km from Leopard Creek Country Club, South Safari Lodge offers spacious air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. South Safari Lodge was one of the best places I’ve ever stayed on holiday. We felt so welcomed, comfortable and at home. The lodge was clean and beautiful, the food was delicious and everyone working there was beyond kind. Even more exceptional were the animals walking right through the property, the ease of booking a safari tour through the lodge, and proximity to Kruger.

Offering garden views, Langa Langa Tented Safari Camp in Huntingdon offers accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace and a bar. We loved that you can do safari drives in both the Kruger national park, which is huge, and the Sabi Sands that is more intimate and you can get a little closer to the animals. The staff make this place amazing, all so kind and accommodating. We loved our guide Percy who really went above and beyond on our drives, and Matt who was really accommodating, plus all other staff (too many to mention). The food was great, all meals. The tents are nicer than expected with really comfortable, large beds, air con and a good shower/bathroom. The pool area is also really nice and they are building a second. Overall really great value and the perfect safari experience. We hope to return again!

Grace of Africa, Couples 5 STAR Nature Lodge in Marloth Park provides adults-only accommodation with an infinity pool, a garden and barbecue facilities. The houses are brand new, spacious, beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you may need. The host and the staff were very nice and helpful with explanations about the house and the area, as well as tips for Kruger. Last but not least, the breakfast was abundant and excellent. Highly recommend!

Featuring garden views, Masorini Bush Lodge & Safari Tents in Phalaborwa features accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a terrace, a bar and barbecue facilities. Masorini Bush Lodge is a wonderful place and we felt like home from the first day. Natasha, Eric and their dog are amazing hosts! They made us feel very welcome and helped with a lot of things: visiting the Kruger Park, organizing home made dinners by the fire and prepping good breakfast in the morning. The rooms are comfortable, big and have everything you need. The location is also convenient, since it is close to the Kruger Park and if you are lucky you get to see some animal visitors during the evening as well (we saw an elephant).

With Olifants West Game Reserve reachable in 36 km, MILIMA Big 5 Safari Lodge provides accommodation, a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a shared lounge. The location in the middle of the bush. We had the villa which was very clean. The staff were great. The food was amazing, I requested vegetarian which was really good. The waterhole were animals come to drink. We saw all the Big 5 (we did 6 game drives). It felt like a home away from home. Will recommend it to everyone.

With Drakensig Golf Club reachable in 5.9 km, Muunga Bush Lodge & Spa features accommodation, a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a shared lounge. We thought we were only going to crash for a night after a long flight and before starting a safari the next day, but we were absolutely mind blown by how amazing everything was. Perfect location in the middle of what is called "Wildlife Estate" which gives you a chance to see wild animals strolling nearby (we almost saw all the same animals we saw on the safari strolling around the lodge), this is an astounding place with a beautiful room which makes you feel you're in a dream! Last but not least - Ruan and Jenny were very friendly and informative on things to do, and even gave us recommendations about Cape Town which was our next stop. For a small fee, we pre-arranged dinner (which was delicious and cooked by one of their chefs) and transfer from the Hoedspruit airport as well. Communication was easy and Ruan was very responsive. It was such a shame that we only spent one night - had we known how calm and beautiful it all was, we would have 100% extended our stay. So sad to have left but I rave about it. There couldn't have been a more perfect welcome to South Africa.

Staying at African Flair is a wonderful experience and a great place to base yourself to see the attractions of the region. This is one of those rare places where only videos or seeing the lodge in person can fully capture the attention to detail and layout of the lodge, photos just don't do justice to take it all in. The included breakfast is exceptional too and way better than anything you could find elsewhere in town. We don't often post reviews on accommodation that we stay at but this is an exception. Having visited all corners of the globe this is the closest we have seen to a 10/10. The lodge is roomy, well decorated and full of optional extras at your discretion to make your visit even more memorable. If you want to really cap off a memorable visit to the Kruger/Blyde River region, this is definitely the place to stay!

Set in Hazyview, Linvale Country Lodge offers accommodation with a year-round outdoor pool, free WiFi, a garden and a shared lounge. We loved everything, breakfast & dinner was great, staff was so friendly, the lodge itself is just beautiful and lays within a nice macadamia farm. We had a bug in our initial room and got relocated to another room immediately - the service is just unbelievably good!
