Comfy lounge area. The location is amazing (cut through directly across the road to the ski run) very close to dinner/bar options and convenience stores. The owner/host, Miwa, is absolutely lovely, very welcoming and helpful. I took advantage of ski rental delivery. Very nice to have the small onsen. Stunning view of Mt Yōtei, if you’re lucky.

Located in Rusutsu, 31 km from Lake Toya, Lodge Romulus provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The property is non-smoking and is set 26 km from Hirafu Station. It had more than it explains - towels are daily changed, also many amenities! And most important - the room is big enough to open luggage, hang the ski clothes but yet relax. Another room for cooking / eating in a big room (shared) They also accept the luggage delivery in advance When I spoke to the owner, who is every morning there to organise the transport and cleaning, and when someone checks in. If you are traveling with bus, try to book all in advance!

Well situated in the Niseko Village Ski Area district of Niseko, Yotei Chalets is set 6.8 km from Lake Hangetsu Nature Park, 7.7 km from Hirafu Golf Center and 10 km from Lerch Memorial Park. Cozy and warm. Smooth check in process. Covered parking and electric hotpot was a plus. Well located to access Niseko United lifts.

It was a well decorated with minimalist style. Nice TV, sound system , fireplace etc. electro domestic were new and has good connections except the dishwasher.

Bears House is a recently renovated chalet in Furano, where guests can make the most of its garden and bar. There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. The house had everything we needed and was conveniently located in a beautiful setting at a short driving distance from several ski resorts. Dan was a fantastic and very helpful host!

Located in Niseko in the Hokkaido region, Alpenglow Lodges Ginkei provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. A buffet breakfast is available daily at the lodge. Welcoming, cozy yet rustic small family run cabin. We visited in early August but I can tell it is a prime spot for skiers come winter. The owners were kind and accomodating - They have a small library full of Niseko maps and resources. Breakfast was exquisite - everything was homemade and local (arugula salad, yogurt, whole wheat bread, egg frittata and more). Also, they had a washing machine :-).
