Beautiful property with great restaurant and pool. The owners and staff were excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed the wine tasting, olive oil, dinner and breakfast. I would recommend getting the Italian burger and chips - they were amazing. Would definitely stay again.

He quickly replies to any of our questions using Whatsapp. He gave us a lot of valuable information (restaurants, transport options, places to see and where to go for shopping, etc.) The apartment is really huge and comfortable with two bathrooms (extra points here!). It has also a nice garden (we used it for the breakfast time). The special option is to go the LaFarina restaurant which is located just a few steps next to the apartment (recommended Fiorentina steak was excellent).

This is an exceptionally beautiful old villa, newly renovated to a sympathetic and high standard, set in the grounds of the medieval castle, above the small historical town, with stunning views in all directions of the mountains. The rooms are huge, with antique furniture, very comfortable with no expense to detail spared. The staff (owners of the villa) are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is delightful with homemade produce. The location is perfect to explore the Garfagnana. This is a special place to stay.

Everything was so comfortable All mod cons tv’s in every room all types of appliances . Addition of an Alexa would be a great touch! Every window had external shutters and fly screens, with a separate washing , drying area . An Alexa would be a nice addition. There is a fresh fruit and vegetable shop opposite open in the morning The Coop supermarket is a 5 minute walk away and the city centre a 15 minutes easy walk
