The shepherds huts are absolutely beautiful, we had the most relaxing weekend away for Easter. The huts have everything you need and are very cosy and comfortable. Perfect location for getting out and exploring the local area and nice and peaceful. Nicky the host goes above and beyond to ensure guests have the most amazing time and is always on hand for anything else you may need or with local recommendations. She takes pride in the huts and puts extra little touches when you arrive.

Rivendale Lodge Retreat is located in Ashbourne, 22 km from Buxton Opera House, 23 km from Chatsworth House, and 29 km from Alton Towers. There is an on-site restaurant and free private parking. Beautiful setting. Perfect for a weekend at Alton Towers.

The property was wonderful. It had everything we needed or wanted. A well-equipped kitchen, a washing machine and dish washer a good-sized lounge room great bed and pillows, wonderful quality sheets and towels, crockery was fine China coupled with a fantastic location close to pubs and town amenities as well as Chatsworth house and other villages of interest. Internet worked well. A well-presented property with secure parking, a wonderful outlook. Very professionally presented and one I would highly recommend.
