For a family quickly touring the UK for 10 days, this "glamping" experience served as a marvelous introduction to Scotland outside its cities and towns. The hosts went out of their way to ensure that each family member, whether young or old, had a relaxing and enjoyable time. That served to make the experience even more memorable.

With river views, Bonnie Banks Lodge Ardlui is located in Ardlui and has a restaurant, luggage storage space, bar, garden and barbecue. This is an excellent place with every facility that one might need when on a vacation and no doubt this is the best one we ever stayed. It's easily accessible, just a few mins walk from the train station. The kitchen is well equipped with all the necessary items, the house has beach front and kayaks - we just loved it. Darren is very helpful and he is a great host. He helped us with all the information we needed around the place. Couldn't wait to come back here again. Thank you!

The location was perfect, Balloch was a 5 minute drive from the lodge and Loch Lomond shores where the sea life centre,etc was is only 10 minutes away. The lodge was clean, the back yard is full enclosed so the dogs can be let out without worry. The hot tub got cleaned each morning and the guy let himself in through the garden so was no fuss at all.

Door was open for us and manager came and explained TV, Kitchen as there was every thing you could wish for, washing machine dryer, dishwasher coffee machine, microwave, electric hob, and oven.
