Not only was the view outstanding but the lodge got everything you needed to prepare a good meal and relax while enjoying the landscape. There is a small grocery shop at the entry of the village, but I will suggest shopping in town before reaching the lodge.

Apartment is large, very clean and nicely furnished. Location is great and quiet, it is literally on the other side of Zermatt railway station (100m of walking). Everything you need is there and if you miss something, grocery shop is on another side of the street and there is also a hotel with its own deli and restaurant. You also get terrace with chairs and swing chair. Wifi is excellent (exceptionaly fast).

Offering mountain views, Chalet Schuler is an accommodation set in Zermatt, 800 metres from Zermatt Railway Station and 600 metres from Zermatt - Matterhorn. The apartment was just beautiful. From the fully equipped kitchen to the private spa, the mood lighting, the little homely touches like wall hangings and little trinkets on the shelves. The beds had feather donnas and big fluffy pillows, private shower in each bedroom. Very wash and cosy. Highly recommended

Featuring a garden and views of river, Chalet Elza is an apartment situated in a historic building in Lauterbrunnen, 14 km from Grindelwald Terminal. The location was top notch, just a few minutes to the trains and cable cars that offered travel throughout the entire Swiss Alps region. The chalet was clean, comfortable, quiet, but the location is definitely meant for people who can easily climb a steep incline path to reach the chalet and the staircases up to the chalet and inside to the bedrooms. One must also master their fire making skills during the colder months to keep the family room downstairs warm, but we were always kept with a supply of wood and kindling. There are space heaters in the bedrooms that will definitely keep you toasty warm. Wilson, the barn cat was a daily visitor we really looked forward to seeing, and Dave and Patricia were exceptional hosts always quick to respond to all messages. Would definitely stay here the next time we are in Lauterbrunnen.
