This is a stylish roomy apartment on the edge of the old town in a nice building. We enjoyed the novelty of having shutters, the open view, and the small balcony that we could sit out on and enjoy a drink.
10 minutes drive from town, Primaluce offers basic farm accommodation in a pleasant, peaceful location. Running a busy pizza business, Francesco and Lia were friendly and happy to offer a good shuttle service to and from town.

We checked in to Swiss Diamond on our honeymoon. The view was fantastic, the hotel had upgraded us to a lake view and gave us some chocolates as a little honeymoon gift. The breakfast was delicious and a good range of fresh food and drinks. The Venus wellness center (Hammam spa, pool, steam room, sauna) was lovely, and it was nice to relax by the pool, which was often to ourselves. The free shuttle bus was good to get into Lugano.
Beautiful view of the lake both during the day and night from our window and from the dining area next to the lake. Some menu choices were a little pricey, but it was Switzerland and the food was great. The room was quiet, especially with the windows shut, there was very little noise from the road outside. Sharing a bathroom was OK too. The staff were friendly and very attentive. There was an unusual way of opening a champagne bottle with a cutless.
Location is excellent, in the middle of town and very close to the station, making getting to the property very easy. Beds were comfortable and the ability to close the shutters assisted with early morning sun.
