This is the perfect spot for an off-the-beaten-track, close-to-nature experience. The accommodation in glamping tents is very comfortable and each tent has an amazing view of valleys and mountains. We loved the small finishing touches in the tent. The shared kitchen and BBQ area are very well equiped. A real highlight of our stay was the walk through the indigenous forest and neighbouring nature reserve. Our hosts, Hilary and Andrew, could not have been more welcoming or informative!

The location is magnificent and I'm sure in the summer it's much more enjoyable. The tent is comfortable for a family and there are activities to keep younger kids busy. There are braai packs available if you remember to order 2 days in advance.

Nova cottage is beautiful and very well equipped, surrounded by nature, with amazing views and lovely short walks to the hot tub, play area and the waterfall trail that we did with our small kids. Starry Starry Night is the perfect place for a getaway weekend! We would have loved to stay longer! The meals were also delicious and a big treat delivered to your door!

Usually fully furnished and with kitchen facilities, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found other places in the world. Characterized by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing vacations.
Host were friendly and welcoming, the cabin surrounded by scenery and sound of nature.
Everything needed for a stay over was provided, even chocolates.
Definately worth it
The cabin is secluded and has epic views. It is also super well equipped, every little detail from champagne glasses to a portable speaker was in the cabin. We made a lovely meal in the kitchen (which also has everything one could need) and had a fire going the entire night. It was quite cold on the day we arrived, but the host provided enough wood and the fireplace really warms up the cabin.
The cabin is beautifully designed, spotlessly clean and in a beautiful setting. The host, Rochelle, was very friendly and accomodating and communication was excellent.
The cabin was absolutely beautiful and had everything one would need to make your stay comfortable. Absolutely stunning few, peaceful and tranquil environment. The host was so friendly and accomodative. We will definitely stay there again in the future it is worth every cent paid.
The seclusion, privacy and hot tub was a win with us. Although small, the cabin is beautifully designed and decorated. It suited our needs perfectly for two nights. The attention to detail and layout is splendid.
We were able to purchase fire wood, fire lighters, honey and eggs at short notice and these were delivered to our door.
Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
We had a lovely stay in the separate chalet, which had its own kitchen and living room so we could make our own private dinner (Checkers just down the road.) We had a baby cot provided for us which made life easier. The swimming pool was great for a dip in the morning. The owners were very welcoming, friendly and put on a great breakfast. If we come to Swellendam again we will stay here.

Lovely self-catering cabin/cottage. We were a bit late arriving but that was no problem for them. Loved the design of the cabins, and the views of the moutains in the distance. We only needed to stay one night but it was peaceful and we'd happily stay again.
