Zur Alten Mine was located in a great location and we felt very secure. Our host, Reiner, was very helpful and the breakfast was absolutely outstanding. Also, they had a well maintained hiking trail for guests to stretch their legs.

The Manager Nazeem gave us a warm welcome and shared some tips with us on the different places we wanted to visit.
The chalet was clean. The place was peaceful. I left my car's window open through the night by mistake but we found the car exactly as we parked it at night, it's the safest place I've ever been.
The bed linen was clean, the bathroom and shower clean. The yard is so beautiful 😍 and you can see it's well taken care of.

The room was comfortable and spacious. The view was so nice! Everything was actually just great!
For active travelers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and with kitchen facilities, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found other places in the world. Characterized by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing vacations.
Lovely wooden cabin with 2 bedrooms, well appointed kitchen (with oven), great balcony with views. Ivy and Charl were very welcoming and helpful. Great location on the Lisbon River.
Very lovely accommodation into the forest of
Graskop, very friendly staff and owners! Also great value for money, as we got a whole chalet with living room, kitchen, bathroom and sleeping room plus veranda for our own. Moreover, very nice to have a chilled evening at the fireplace in the living place.
It was a perfect place for relaxed two nights. The owner Rainer was super helpful with recommendations for restaurants and activities. He also gave advise on which streets to take and which not.
His wife made amazing breakfast, serving not only home made jam but also home made bread and brezels.
Our favorite was sitting at the fireplace in our own chalet in the evening.
The chalet could easily house 5-6 people on two floors.
The place is insanely beautiful, looks like heaven. Well-kept and clean. The cabin is very clean, spacious, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need, the bed is very large. The fireplace adds to the perfect atmosphere and the cabin is next to a fish pond. host answered every question patiently and was friendly and caring. There is a nice walking trail in the forest. In conclusion, staying at the place is highly recommended, and we would return there again and again
It was really cosy and the staff were friendly and super helpful. The cabin with a fireplace is perfect for the cold weather. Breakfast was great with variety of meats and cheese and the most delicious homemade bread. There's a little stream with 10 minute walking trail on the property.
Everything - the cabin was absolutely beautiful; it exceeded my expectations. it had a BBQ on the terrace and a fireplace inside, plus a great kitchen. The owners were very friendly and made a lovely breakfast. Highly recommend! And stay longer than a night - we wish we could have.
Short drive from town surrounded by indigenous forest. We liked the German style breakfast, very quiet nights, and the atmosphere of the wooden cabins. What other establishment can learn from this, is the abundance of SA “two point” (European style plugs) which most SA cell phone and camera chargers require. Small things like this help to make a holiday without worries!
Very nice surroundings with monkeys around our beautiful wooden cabin. The breakfast was very good with homemade jam and bread! Super friendly owners and staff.
Would highly recommend this accommodation! Special thanks to Rainer who helped us out with our rental car problems.
Situated in an idyllic setting with beautiful wooden cabins. Electric blankets, infrared heater in the bathroom, fire place, beautiful deck with a great view. Great breakfast with homemade products.
