Check-in is straightforward. Chalet fuyuri is literally right at the corner of Kitanomine, so you'd have to drive into the gravel path off the main road a bit to reach there.
Not our first stay here, though this is our first summer stay. Came back here because of how tucked away it is, yet situated at a vantage point overlooking Furano. It's a cabin-in-the-woods experience so both winter and summer will offer a peaceful and quiet stay. The kind where you feel comfortable staying in on a rest day.

Located about 15 mins from Furano - very convenient since we had a car. I liked that it was a quiet place. Loved the breakfast and the coziness of the whole place with the wood stove. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Helpful, friendly hosts. Donkeys! Great onsen nearby at Furano La Terre.

The cottage is right behind the Tomita Farm, but you will still have to drive to get there. The cottage is a little small, no TV, but the AC is adjustable and it has everything you need. The breakfast is exceptionally great!

For active travelers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Characterized by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing vacations.

On average, a cabin in Furano costs $234 per night (based on Booking.com prices).
The beds are very comfortable. We had a good night sleep there. The hut is cozy and well equipped. There is a washing machine and some hangers for doing our laundry.
Clara and other staff are very friendly and helpful. Since my husband was unable to rent a car in Sapporo as he doesn’t have an international driver’s license though he has a Canadian driver’s license. Clara and a young female staff provided us free shuttle bus services from Furano JR station.
We enjoyed our stay there and the breakfast was also good.
Loved the fact that we can use TV in room to watch Netflix (by logging into our own account). Bed is firm and very comfortable. Our cabin size luggages can be stowed under the beds.
Amazing place to stay in the area,
The cabin is beautiful And has a great view to the mountains.
We were 2 people and the host made our stay so great,
He cooked and took care of us.
Absolutely wonderful stay at Shin Furano Prince Hotel, so convenient and well set-up for families and first-time skiers. Ningle Terrace and the snow play/toboganning areas were wonderful; loved the husky dog sledding also. Store in the lobby was well-stocked and the food options were great, well catered for young children. Loved the convenience of the bus shuttle into town and also the coin laundry. Very clean and cosy. Would definitely stay there again. Have recommended to all our friends.
Rikka and Gareth are great hosts and wonderful people. The rooms are clean, well furnished and spacious. There is also space to store skis and a ski shuttle is also available. Thank you for hosting me!
Room was a good size for three people.
Breakfast was plentiful.
In house Onsen was fantastic after a days skiing
Shuttle service to gondola only needs to be booked and is quick. Able to walk back after skiing.
The cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and was well located a short walk up to the Kitanomine chair lift. The wooden interior made the room feel very comfy. We enjoyed being able to wake up in the morning and see the hill from the window. There has been a lot of attention to detail in the practical set up of the room, and there is ample space to store snow boards/skis and gear. Mr. Shinojima is a lovely host, and drove us to the train station on our last day.
Loved the charm of this place. We arrived later in the evening and the chalets shuttle met us at the bus stop. The breakfast was fantastic and the rooms were clean and spacious. Would totally stay here again.
