The room was beautiful and wonderfully appointed, Rachael added several very thoughtful touches such as fresh eggs, milk, butter, jam and bread along with some snacks and tea and coffee. The accommodations were conveniently located not too far from Portree making them convenient to most of the popular sites on the island.Rachael was easy to reach if you had any questions. I would highly recommend The Sabhal to anyone visiting the Isle of Skye and I look forward to a return trip back!

The hosts were excellent! They were so kind and knowledgeable. They were great to offer suggestions of where to go and what to avoid, when to go, etc. The accommodations were fantastic - very comfortable and homey. It was so quiet and the ambiance was wonderful. Highly recommend staying here!

The host was great. She checked with us to make sure everything was good and welcomed us by name. The pods were clean and well stocked, with lots of little touches to make it homey. All the basics were present, although somewhat cramped due to size. There are chairs outside and a small enclosed fireplace, but we didn't use the fireplace.

Vanessa and Gordon were so very friendly. A welcoming bottle of prosecco, snacks, bathrobe and slippers. The little quonsett hut was cozy. Very comfortable bed and heated towel rack!

Absolutely loved our time here. It was our favorite spot we stayed on our whole trip! Pod is small but cozy and has everything you need. Perfect for a solo traveler or couple. We loved being able to pull out the couch into a bed and watch movies at the end of the day. The heated floors were so nice when coming home from the cold and hiking all day. It was super nice to have a refrigerator for snacks and drinks and Marion provided snacks and some basics for us which was so sweet and nice. Bed was comfortable and shower was hot. Super close to co-op grocery store and an easy walk into town. Appreciated having parking right outside accommodations. 10/10 stay and can't wait to go back!

The chalet was modern and very cozy. It had a full kitchen and great size bathroom and bedroom. It has an amazing view and we especially loved the sheep in the pasture in the hills behind it. Evelyn was great at communicating with me and also provided some restocking for us during our stay. A lovely gift basket was left for us as well. They have definitely put much time and care into thinking of the needs of those who stay there. Very comfortable chalet.

We loved our stay here. The cabin is the perfect size with all the amenities you could need. The host was friendly and provided great recommendations. We found this a perfect location to base out of for adventures throughout the isle.

This is a wonderful place! The room was spotless, the kitchen area was great and the location is fabulous - a 10 minute walk to town. There are outlets by the bed which was appreciated. The space is not huge, but was perfect for us since we just used it to shower and sleep.

We enjoyed our stay in this superb, quiet, spotless little cabin in a rural area. Loved the black calves frolicking in the paddock. Wish we could have stayed longer.

There was jams and milk and musli as a gift in the kitchen for us . The cabin was excellent in every way clean relaxing and very comfortable. You could not ask for anymore with this cabin and the views from the decking area were fantastic
What a serene base to explore the magic of Skye . Superbly designed and fitted out cabin with sublime views that’s whisper quiet . Loved nestling in the cozy chairs in front of the glass doors at the end of the day . Great stash of reading material too.
The apartment was so secluded.and peaceful, our own space in and around the cabin. The hot tub was an amazing feature and the showers ran hot. We had some cute neighbors - sheep and a horse. It was wonderful waking up to their faces!
Lovely place to stay in Skye. Shepards hut was a good size and comfortable for the two of us. Beautifully thought out space with great amenities. We cooked dinner in the cabin two nights. Able to sit outside of an afternoon and enjoy the farm views. Hosts were lovely to have a chat to. Parking is close to the hut.
Short drive into Portree and able to drive easily to other parts of the isle.
