Everything was amazing. The property is very spacious, super clean and very high quality bed. The bathroom as well was spotless. The host allowed us to check in quite late and left us some bread, egg and milk to get the day started which was very helpful. Location is very good as well, being 10 minutes away from Portree.

This cozy pod is conveniently located near Portree, offering easy access to a variety of restaurants and grocery stores, making it a perfect base for exploring the area. It's also ideally situated close to many of Skye's must-visit tourist spots, so you'll never be far from the island's natural wonders.
The pod itself is impressively well-equipped and absolutely spotless. I was pleasantly surprised by the incredibly fast Wi-Fi, especially for a remote island location—it worked seamlessly throughout our stay. The room is bright and spacious enough to accommodate our mid-sized luggage comfortably.
The heating system is excellent, which was a blessing given the chilly weather during our visit. Inside the pod, we stayed warm and comfortable, thanks to the effective heater that created a cozy ambiance.
The quality and variety of amenities provided are fantastic and thoughtfully chosen: TV, flashlight, shower towels, soap, toaster, bread, fridge, milk, butter, jam, oats, plates, utensils, mirror, table, and dishwashing liquid—everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The shower warms up instantly, which is a lovely touch for relaxing after a day of exploring.
The mattress was also very comfortable, allowing for a restful night’s sleep. The view from the window is simply stunning, adding to the peaceful and scenic atmosphere.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would happily rate this pod a 11/10.

Great location, lovely little cabin with very good facilities.
It was so nice to watch the little black faced sheep as we were sitting in the cabin

For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
We enjoyed our stay in this superb, quiet, spotless little cabin in a rural area. Loved the black calves frolicking in the paddock. Wish we could have stayed longer.
The cabin was spacious, spotless and very comfortable. A beautiful place to stay. Furniture and facilities we top notch and the hosts well very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.
Excellent location to see and visit the isle of Skye. Facilities were great, especially the goodies that Rachel supplied. Loved the Shepherd Hut and had such a wonderfully stay so cosy and comfortable. Will love to go back one day. Thank you Rachel for making our stay exceptional.
There was jams and milk and musli as a gift in the kitchen for us . The cabin was excellent in every way clean relaxing and very comfortable. You could not ask for anymore with this cabin and the views from the decking area were fantastic
What a serene base to explore the magic of Skye . Superbly designed and fitted out cabin with sublime views that’s whisper quiet . Loved nestling in the cozy chairs in front of the glass doors at the end of the day . Great stash of reading material too.
The apartment was so secluded.and peaceful, our own space in and around the cabin. The hot tub was an amazing feature and the showers ran hot. We had some cute neighbors - sheep and a horse. It was wonderful waking up to their faces!
Lovely place to stay in Skye. Shepards hut was a good size and comfortable for the two of us. Beautifully thought out space with great amenities. We cooked dinner in the cabin two nights. Able to sit outside of an afternoon and enjoy the farm views. Hosts were lovely to have a chat to. Parking is close to the hut.
Short drive into Portree and able to drive easily to other parts of the isle.
