Location is perfect about a 20 to 25 minute walk into the local town and around a 20 minute drive from Aviemore. House and garden spacious, 10 of us spent the weekend comfortably without feeling we were on top of each other. Decor is very warm and homely and the house is well equipped. There was a heavy snow on the ground when we arrived although this thawed quickly when temperatures reached 6 and 7 degrees, we unfortunately experienced a frozen pipe on our second day meaning we had no running water the owner replied to us immediately after we had alerted him, so contact was excellent although nothing could be done other than wait it out. The water was still off when we left the following day.

The location is good, by main roads. Loved mostly everything in the lodge from the decor to bed pillows. Sheets and towels were super soft. Five star win with me. We had a nice wee view of the beautiful landscape.
Didn't do any cooking during our stay, but it has a good selection.
We will be using your lodges again and can not wait to come back.

Big, all the things u need, cosy welcoming and lovely home.
For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
Location is amazing and this building is a unique experience by itself. The rooms are very cute: carpet, wooden cabinets, colourful curtains and beautiful ceiling decorations.
The lady at reception (afternoon of the 24th) was wonderful. Bar staff (evening of 24th and 25th) were very helpful, professional and friendly.
We didn't try dinner in the hotel as the big bus tour groups were there. There is a fantastic Indian restaurant down the road, and other options available, too.
Very clean chalet, well-equipped kitchen, comfy bed, working heaters and hot water and very helpful staff!
Aesthetically, there's no frills, but all the important boxes are ticked!
The cabin was extremely clean and has everything you could possibly need but it’s quite small. So it’s a great solution to eating and sleeping but it’s not really a place to relax in.
Perfect for what was needed,, ie a bed for the night. Comfortable little cabin, we didn't need the facilities, but pretty much everything you'd need. Nice and elean, friendly staff.
Well-equipped log cabin had good facilities for food preparation (we arrived late so only used tea and coffee) and good WiFi. The hotel is in the heart of town, close to a Co-Op open till 10. Easy check-in and easy to find location after long trip.
Excellent location and very quiet and peaceful. Hosts Kevin and Sharon very welcoming and helpful if needed.Chalet was very well equipped and comfortable. Wildlife all around amongst the pines.
Room as described, a cabin in the garden. Easy check-in at the hotel with also ample off road parking. Very friendly staff at the hotel at check-in. Very clean room and facilities and nice to be able to have pretty much a tiny-house with a small courtyard (shared with 3 other cabins). I loved the freedom of the cabin, you had everything you needed just squished into a small space. Not overly insulated so needed to switch on heating to get comfortable, but enought facilities to heat it up quickly.
