The place was only about 2 hours from the airport and only an hour walk from the Refugio in Parque Chicaque. It was a pleasant walk up an unmarked path, which took a bit of trial and error to find. There is a restaurant serving lunch at the Refugio. The host family was very gracious. The landscape was beautiful at sunset.
