Developed in Japan, these cheap 'pod' hotels are a novelty for any traveller. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodation is basic and intended to be overnight. There is separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms — some capsule hotels also have a sentō, a Japanese bath house, often for male guests only.
The hotel itself was beautiful and the location was very convenient. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices and very good and friendly service.
The first room we were given was quite dark, so we asked if we could change and we were given a big bright room with a balcony.
Overall, we were very pleased with this hotel and would stay there again.

But the hostel is above the Japanese restaurant that you have to find the restaurant first then you can find the entrance to the hostel.

Good value hotel with great rooftop view of the city. Awesome view of fireworks for NYE. Staff were friendly and did a good job. Breakfast was poor and if it wasn't included in our room package I would skip it - buffet style scrambled eggs were overcooked (5/10), small bowl of fruit, flavoured water, weak / probably instant coffee. Hot tub was luke warm, showers were cold and barely any pressure. Nevertheless still a decent value hotel if you want a cheap place to stay but you definitely get what you pay for.
Tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable B&B in convenient location for exploring central historic area. Excellent and friendly staff. Breakfast was perfect for us. Immaculately maintained. Highly recommended
The mattress was very comfortable and the bedding was super clean. The value for money cannot be argued, it's a solid place to stay if on a budget. The patio area with festoon lighting is also really nice to sit at night. The staff are very friendly and gave us some good tips as well as helped us to move to a different room with mosquito nets.
Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, location is very convenient for getting around the city, facilities were clean and the hostel is good value for money.
Well, if you are looking friendly owner, convenient location, quiet and low price - you just found it!

Great location and not too many stairs to take, it’s on the second floor of a Japanese restaurant so you won’t be hungry and will get 15% off as well. Alex is super helpful and friendly, he gave me a lot of useful information not about Guanajuato but we had great chats about other places in Mexico. Thanks so much for the champurrado, hope to come back to this lovely town one day.
Comunications was good, guys - owners were very friendly and extremely helpful!!!! Shower very good! Look, because of weekend and festival in Leon everything was booked so having this cheap room we were happy to have bed to sleep so "how much money so much music"! In that sense stay was ok.
