Developed in Japan, these cheap 'pod' hotels are a novelty for any traveller. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodation is basic and intended to be overnight. There is separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms — some capsule hotels also have a sentō, a Japanese bath house, often for male guests only.
Great facilities and convenient location. This is our return stay to this budget friendly hotel; we really appreciate the friendly staff, courtesy bus, breakfast and comfy beds! The 7-11 downstairs is an added bonus! We also enjoyed the local shopping mall and visiting the Naritasan Temple.
I have heard about capsule hotels and wanted to try it out, expecting anything. This ended up being a very relaxing experience. Check-in was simple, I could store my big suitcase, small hand luggage, and backpack in the locker (with some Tetris skills). The provided pajamas were comfortable, the showers great, and the pod itself was bigger than expected (I could comfortably sit up). I slept extremely well, and didn't need to use earplugs.
The staff at the hotel were really friendly and available to assist which came in handy as non - Japanese speakers. The hotel shuttle also makes the airport transfers very convenient.

Good, sufficient & thoughtful amenities - especially the yukata, as they give an overall nice Japanese feel alongside the teacups and window decor.
Free & timely shuttle bus service to Narita Airport, journey was 30 minutes only, so it's good for early morning flights out.
¥1000 for taxi from Keisei - Narita train station to the Hotel.
Mini Stop convenience store outside the Hotel and a small 7-11 outlet in the Hotel helps is convenient.
I’m eating this based on the fact it’s a two star hotel. Yes it’s not new, it feels abit like going back to the 70s, but it’s clean and convenient and very cheap.
There’s a shuttle bus to the airport from the hotel for free and it’s very easy to find upon arrival to the airport.
The food was good, lots of vending machine choices.
Rooms are a little dated but they’re big and do exactly what you need.
Convenient to terminals 2 and 3 of Narita Airport. Stylish pods look good in pictures. The bed/ capsule itself is clean and 'spacious' enough and doesn't feel claustrophobic. They provide clean essentials, such as bath towels and pyjamas.
The room, facilities and indoor onsen were extremely nice. Stuff was also very friendly and could speak English, which is good for people who doesn't speak Japanese. (But I could understand a little bit). The breakfast was delicious, but pricy tho. Also there's convenience store on 2nd floor, if you wish to buy something to eat. And shuttle bus to Narita Airport was very convenient. It took me around 20min to get there. I think I stay there next time I'm going to Japan.
9h is a super convenient place to stay before an early flight or upon a late arrival at Narita. The capsule hotel experience is also quite special for new visitors to Japan. 9h is really well organised and equipped for a comfortable space-age stay.
Very conveniently located for an early morning flight. Nine Hours is located just across the road from Terminal 2 with a closed walkway to the terminal. Staff were extremely friendly and explained to me the process of staying in a capsule hotel. Capsule itself was very clean and quiet with good WiFi. Showers were busy in the morning (as is to be expected!) but they all worked well and seemed well-maintained.
