I loved this experience. Almost like a retreat. The bath facilities (hot tubs/sauna) were relaxing and healing after long days of visiting Tokyo. Lounge wear, towels, lockers were provided. Everything was tidy and extremely clean. The capsule sleeping area was quiet, private, sturdy, comfortable, roomy: each pod had sheets, a pillow, blanket, shelves, TV and even a small closet w/a lock. There were restaurants, food/drink vending machines, lounge chairs, a library, work areas, fast Wi-Fi, all within the facility. Safe area with stores and train station nearby.

My go to place whenever I visit Tokyo, still the best value lodging in town. Not sure if booking gave me a genius discount but i only paid $440 USD for 10 days! Looking at other properties prices are around 2-3 times that. The rooms/common areas are immaculate, they clean everyday and change your sheets every 4 nights. The new thing i noticed is that they charge you before your stay, your used to be able to pay at the property after you arrive, it seems some guests doesn’t show up after making a reservation. Staff is always nice and helpful.

I really liked how clean the accommodation was. They provided free amenities like towels, pajamas, and a bag, and they replaced them with fresh ones daily, which is excellent for hygiene. The facilities were fantastic and had everything you could need, including shampoo, soap, and even body lotion, which was a pleasant surprise and very impressive. The location was superb—it’s very close to the train station and surrounded by plenty of convenience stores and restaurants. Most of the staff were very friendly and showed great hospitality, making the stay even more enjoyable.

The capsule is more spacious than anticipated. And they covers all of my concerns about my safety i.e. luggage lock under the bunk, a tiny locker over the head on the bed. Yet i can still enjoy the local tv channel with the provided headphone from Audio Technica. Moreover, the hotel offers everyday towel changes and pajamas which are absolutely great!!! I 100% enjoy this stay personally.
Developed in Japan, these cheap “pod” hotels are a novelty for any traveler. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodations are basic and intended to be overnight. There's separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms. Some capsule hotels also have a sentō – a Japanese bath house, usually for male guests only.
This hotel is just a few minutes away from Funabashi Station from which you can take the train to Tokyo (Shimbashi or Hamamatsucho) in around 40 minutes. Staff was very friendly, room was spacious and comfortable.
Facilities are extremely clean, comfortable beds, large locker spaces, and washing areas. Staff were super kind and helpful. Unlimited free drinks are lovely, the milk tea is really delicious 😋 men and women are on separate floors, but it is nice that this capsule hotel can accommodate both genders! The location is also wonderful, only a couple minutes walk from the station which is convenient.
The space was larger then expected and I felt there was room to move. The staff had a verbal Japanese to English translator so it was easy to communicate. They had a beer vending machine and drinks/noodles available at the front desk so you didn't need to leave once you'd checked in.
The owner of the place was kind and friendly and can speak English.
The best part of the stay was the breakfast which the owner himself prepared. It was the first time we tried a local specialty and it honestly was a specialty, not just the same meal you eat everywhere else.
I recommend taking a Japanese-style breakfast.
The capsule hotel rates are affordable. The health and safety of the guests are of extreme concern: disinfectant sprays are available, and the capsules are not crowded.
