Looking for a capsule hotel?
Developed in Japan, these cheap 'pod' hotels are a novelty for any traveller. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodation is basic and intended to be overnight. There is separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms — some capsule hotels also have a sentō, a Japanese bath house, often for male guests only.

Perfect location, wonderful view, everything was very clean and in good repair. Most all of the staff was friendly and helpful. A beautiful view of the city and the Planten un Blomen park. Convenient parking which the hotel validated to make it quite cheaper than standard city parking prices.

-The staff were very friendly, made us feel comfortable and at home. They also amended our booking which was nice of them. -The location is great, just outside the main street which made it convenient. It is also a 5 min walk from the train station. -The bed is comfortable and the option to have a bunk bed is funky. -The fact the shower is seperate from the toilet is convenient.

Very new looking. Rooms and shared bathrooms were very clean. Positively surprised for a capsule hotel! Would stay again if looking for a cheap yet decent room.

Hotel is located in a very nice area, in a close proximity to the city center (10min walk from the subway). Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was clean a spacious enough (we had a family room). There is a street parking (10EUR/day) which is very cheap and convenient (if you can find a space that is). There are some restaurants and bakeries within a walking distance (5-10 min).

Stayed here a few times before, and it remains every bit as clean, modern, and comfortable as I remembered. Convenient to walk to from the railway station, friendly staff, and a well-equipped and nicely designed room. Remains my first choice in Hamburg, whenever the room rate fits within the work expenses budget.

Fritz in Pyjama shows how boutique hotels can be accessible. It's a low budget stay with some extra perks. The focus in detail, from the naming of the rooms, until the toiletries they use, all is very thought through. Very friendly staff who goes above and beyond, and I appreciated a kettle in the room.

Reasonable place, so I did not have a lot of expectations. The room was not too big as there were 8 bunk beds. The bathroom & toilets were actually convenient. My trip was short and was on a budget so this was a good option to me.

It's a clean hotel with friendly staff and it's cheap. The hotel has parking spaces on the -2 underground level and it costs 5 Euros per day to park there. That was very convenient for us. The breakfast is good. In the lobby they have vending machines with hot and cold bevarages, snacks and other. I liked that. What I loved the most was that the hotel was booked almost entirely by people who came for the Metallica concerts at Volkparkstadion (just like ourselves). It was a very good metal weekend🤘 Thanks for having us.

It was our first time at a capsule hotel, it was a nice experience. Rooms were cozy and having Bluetooth speakers in the room is a nice touch. Adjustable lights were nice but was a bit hard to figure out how to control at first, apparently you have to press and hold to adjust the brightness. Toilets are available on each floor which is convenient, showers are only in the basement but there are many cubicles and they are clean. Clean towels can be gotten from front desk, and staff are friendly :)

it is what it is. But for a capsule hotel, the beds are especially comfortable, the staff is friendly and the design is pleasant. As a budget alternative in hamburg, which can often be extremely pricey, well worth it.
