The hosts are amazing….,friendly and generous with their time and amenities. All descriptions and photos on their post are completely accurate. We would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone planning to visit this area.
Takaka
Situated in Takaka, Golden Bay Glamping provides accommodation with seating area. This campground features free private parking and luggage storage space. Guests can make use of the sun terrace or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the mountain and river. The location, the place...everything!
Takaka
Set in Takaka in the Tasman region, Alpacas Off Grid - House Truck offers accommodation with free private parking, as well as access to a hot tub. The property features mountain and garden views. Outdoor seating is also available at the campground. The House Truck itself is wonderfully quirky with lots of interessting details and features - especially the outdoor hottub. We spend an entire evening stargazing in it. Nat and Grant are great hosts. The breakfast was fabulous and we got lots of helpful information. In combination with the location in what felt like the middle of nowhere, it truly was like a whole nother world.
Marahau
Located in Marahau in the Tasman region, with Marahau Beach nearby, Marahau Beach Camp provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. It is set 2.3 km from Porters Beach and offers a shared kitchen.

The location was perfect: right at the beach and close to the entrance of the park.
There is a supermarket next door, which in winter is the only source of food.

Motueka
The campground consists of 1 bedroom, a living room, a fully equipped kitchenette with a toaster and a kettle, and 1 bathroom with a bath and bathrobes. Towels and bed linen are featured in the campground. The property has an outdoor dining area. The Caravan is so cute and cozy. I really enjoyed being there and the Caravan is also clean
We were in Unit 2. The bed was comfortable. The unit and bathroom were very clean. The location was good as we had a car. We had easy access to the nearby inlet (‘beach’), which was a pleasant area for a stroll. The neighbourhood was quiet.
One of the best backpacker I’ve stayed at. The staff are amazingly friendly, always available and happy to help or chat. The place offer every free facility you can dream of: ping pong, pools, hamac and even a home cinema! At night everybody is welcome to share some burned marshmallows around the barbecue. The dorms are nicely organised in old containers and the beds are comfy. You’re 5 min away from the beach or the track. Highly recommended!
Great location close to beach access, local bar and Cafe, great pizza shop. Very clean. Everything in the house was in good working order despite being an older house. It was like 'house sitting" for a friend - firewood chopped, fresh linen and plenty of kitchen supplies. Made our stay easy.

Fantastic value for money. Homemade cookies on arrival are delicious!! Friendly host. Great facilities, everything has been really thought through from cutlery to salt & olive oil etc. Kitchen appliances are very good to cook your own meals. Very very clean. Great shower! Lovely outside area to sit in the evening in the garden. Convenient location on the edge of the Abel Tasman National Park. There is also a great path walk alongside the beach to the Saltwater Baths.
Unit was comfortable with an outdoor patio with great view of Kaiteriteri beach with all day sun. Plenty of space in bathroom and bedroom and close access to pool/spa/etc. Close parking made lightwork of carrying belongings etc. Breakfast was very good with variety for cereal / toast / croissants. Spacious restaurant with outdoor seating options. For my purpose it was close to where my family were camping and I could visit there easily.

Great location overlooking the bay, short way to walk to the beach and the supermarket. Very clean and well equipped.
