Featuring garden views, Mount Cook Station Shearers Quarters Lodge in Lake Tekapo features accommodation, a garden, barbecue facilities and a shared lounge. Amazing location, far away from crowds, beautiful to just enjoy the nature. Room and common spaces were clean and well equipped. Not that we didnt like, but there is a bit of a drive to get to the house, but worth it :)

We found the staff friendly and stand alone accommodation was great for our 1 night stay. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, impressed with the bathroom and shower. Set on well kept camp ground.

The hosts were lovely to communicate with. Our arriving late after long journey and work day was no problem. Our room was warm, clean and modern. With all you needed for a over night trip but would have stayed longer happierly. I fully intend to return in the near future. It exceeds alot of accomodations I have stayed at with in the region. Thank you to the hosts for having us and having pride in what you do. It really shows.

Waikuku Beach Holiday Park is situated in Waikuku Beach, 32 km from Christchurch Art Gallery, 32 km from Canterbury Museum, and 33 km from Hagley Park. Location ... so close to the beach! Very handy having the dairy/takeaway so close. We were en route to begin cycling the A2O bike trail. We didn't want to go into Christchurch as we needed to keep driving to Ōamaru so staying at Waikuku was perfect.
