This was such a unique property—very remote, yet close to the nearby town of Dalen. The kitchen was well equipped and we made dinner (there were four of us staying in the two cabins) and foraged for mushrooms and berries at the hosts encouragement and guidance. We also utilized the breakfast items and our leftovers to make omelettes in the morning before we left. We used the amazing sauna and small pond on the property in the evening. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms were great and the sunrise was unbelievable. The mirrored cabins are not to be missed. We spent a LOT of time taking photos!

We arrived late at night, check-in was easy, we found everything we needed in our wooden house. The location itself is beautiful.

Quite big place yet still peaceful as long as you do not mind a group of happy kids playing around here and there

Peaceful setting. Cozy cabins. I booked it simply as a place to sleep at as I made my way back to Oslo and it was sufficient.
