The campground has a picnic area where you can spend a day out in the open. This was such a unique property—very remote, yet close to the nearby town of Dalen. The kitchen was well equipped and we made dinner (there were four of us staying in the two cabins) and foraged for mushrooms and berries at the hosts encouragement and guidance. We also utilized the breakfast items and our leftovers to make omelettes in the morning before we left. We used the amazing sauna and small pond on the property in the evening. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms were great and the sunrise was unbelievable. The mirrored cabins are not to be missed. We spent a LOT of time taking photos!

Situated in Seljord, Garvikstrondi Camping features a garden, children's playground, and sun terrace. There is a water park on site and guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Free private parking is available on site. It was third time when I was visiting this campsite and I will be back for sure 😁 It is placed right beside a lake so there is beautiful view. Also: easy access, affordable price, very kind host, playground for small children, heating in the cottage, clean and pleasant environment

First Camp Bø - Telemark is a campsite open all year round, only 500 meters away from Sommarland in Bø, right by Lifjell and with Høyt og Lavt adventure park right on the forest border to the camping area. The campsite contains cabins and apartments in traditional telemark style, hobbit houses/pods, and camping sites for motorhomes, caravans and tents. The room is extremely cozy! It has some features such as a minibar and television in the room. Extremely practical check-in. The location is in a very quiet area, at least in autumn, but perhaps it can be busier during the summer.

I booked it simply as a place to sleep at as I made my way back to Oslo and it was sufficient.
