Snøhetta Camping in Hjerkinn provides accommodation with a garden and barbecue facilities. This property offers access to a patio and free private parking. Out of six places I stayed at on my three week trip to Norway, this was my favorite. The neighborhood has several hiking paths that start within walking distance, and it's close to the shuttle bus to Snøhetta. The host is so friendly and helpful, and I loved coming back to my cute cabin after a hike and being greeted by her (and her cute dogs!). Cabin had an oven/range top, fridge, and everything I needed to cook and store food. I will definitely stay here again! Thank you for a fantastic stay!

Situated in Oppdal in the Sør-Trøndelag region, Vekve Hyttetun features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Second time I stayed at Vekve Hyttetun. Once again it was an excellent base to explore Dovrefell national park. Oppdal is only 25mins away from Kongsvol train station where you can hike to the DNT hut Reinheim or search around for Musk Ox to photograph. Friendly owner and the cabins are super comfortable and warm.

Set in Oppdal and surrounded by nature, Magalaupe Camping is 13 km from Hovden-expressen. Hovdenheisen is 13 km away. Free private parking is available on site. Pleasant welcome. The hytter was a cocooning home. Calm and clean. An adress to remember. Too bad we were only passing through

Set in Dombås in the Oppland region, Ljoshaugen Camping offers accommodation with free private parking. This campground has a garden. The campground features family rooms. Beautiful location, rustic hut, very clean and beautifully furnished. Great to be on a campsite. Great feeling of freedom. Highly recommended.
