Featuring a bar, outdoor pool and garden with BBQ, Urban Camp is 3 km from Windhoek city centre. Offering free Wi-Fi and free private parking, the property is 600 metres from Joe’s Beerhouse. Tents were basic, as expected and desired; the facilities clean and nearby. The food was terrific, the staff accommodating. We had a lot of space to work on our bikes. Lovely atmosphere all around.

Namib Desert Campsite is situated near Solitaire. Campers have access to the main lodge’s restaurant, bar, swimming pool and activities. Very beautiful campsite. It's about 5 km from the lodge and reception wich makes it even better. We were the only ones there. So there is nothing else but the beautiful nature and animals. A giraffe crossed the street when we drove from the reception to the campsite. And you can see the stars very good because there's no other light in the surrounding. Nice clean sanitair with hot shower.
