This was the best place in all of Sri Lanka! This safari camp really gives you the whole experience and just makes your vacation in Sri Lanka complete. We absolutely loved it here. The people are SO nice and professional and everyone just makes an effort to make your stay perfect. We especially really liked Ruan. He is the manager of the camp and just goes above and beyond for the guests. Our safari was also perfect and we saw the Sri Lankan Big Five in one dusk safari! It was just incredible. For everyone who is planning on visiting Yala National Park. This is THE BEST place to stay and will give you the best experience and memories. We will definitely come back.

Bénéficiant d'un emplacement idéal pour un séjour sans stress à Kirinda, le Beach Bungalow Yala est un terrain de camping entouré d'une vue sur le jardin. Location is beautiful. Service was outstanding! Food was delicious and they accommodated my daughter’s celiac. He even cut us fresh coconuts. Room was very comfortable and clean.

The people running it are amazing. It’s good value for what you get. There is always room for improvement however, they put their heart and soul into it. They offer amazing food (really recommend) and bird watching boat tours in the lagoon. I will definitely come by again and support these people. Thank you

Doté d'un jardin et offrant une vue sur le lac, ce camping durable est bien situé à Tangalle, à proximité de sites d'intérêt tels que les plages de Tangalle et de Rekawa. La chambre est très moderne, c’est mignon, la salle de bain agréable et le grand est très confortable ! Meilleure chambre de notre séjour ! L’emplacement au calme et idéal pour accéder à la plage, plage magnifique mais avec du courant. Il y a à 500m au bout de la plage une rock pool naturelle très agréable pour se baigner.

Offrant une vue sur le jardin, le Mallara RestSafari (Cabana & Family Restaurant) propose un hébergement avec un jardin et une terrasse, à environ 42 km du parc national d'Udawalawe. Had a wonderful experience staying at the RestSafari. The place is set up in a big area where one can rest comfortably, and looks out on the jungle, where many animals (mainly buffaloes, peacocks, elephants, varanes, foxes) pass by during the day/night. Owners (and staff) are taking good care and are very friendly & relaxed. Nice campfires and surprisingly few mosquitoes. Slept really well in the cabana (great experience!) in a nice, natural breeze, and my room had a nice viewing spot to lay down and look out over the jungle area. Possible to take safari’s from here. The food/drinks served were also real good. Happy to have stayed/rested here. For directions: many (if not all) busses from Ella/Wellawaya to Matara/Tissamaharama will pass close by the RestSafari. Get off at 22 Junction (bus drivers know). It will cost about Rs. 200-350, and from the Junction you can take a local bus, tuktuk or arrange something with the RestSafari.

Amazing view and scenery. It’s the most unique place I’ve been to. The tents were comfortable and you shower under the stars! Its covered so that you have your privacy. The safari that they arranged was also good. The food was great and on one night they arranged a barbeque on the dune, under the stars! Just unforgettable and way better than staying in a standard hotel!

Situé à Yala, le Rivosen Camp Yala Safari propose un terrain de camping récemment rénové et un jardin. Rivosen Camp Yala Safari was awesome! Manjula and Buddika smile’s were very contagious, always making sure we had everything we needed. They have few meal package options, and I highly recommend selecting one, because Buddika cooked multiple Sri Lankan dishes (vegetarian options available) for us and each of them were absolutely delicious. The camp is situated at the border of Yala National Park, therefore during our stay, we saw different wildlife crossing the campground. The location was also very convenient as it is only 15 minutes from the entrance gate of the park. Manjula kindly helped us to organize a Safari tour for the following morning. During our fresh up shower, we had many eyes watching us, as cute frogs and friendly geckos were co-habituating the bathroom. The bed was very comfy and the hotel-like linen were as white as we ever seen in Sri Lanka so far. This place was the perfect little nature retreat, and we loved everything about it. We were spoiled with delicious food, kindness from the owners and an amazing wildlife experience. Manjula and Buddika will do everything to make you happy.

Beautiful stay that transported me away to nature. The camp was stunning, with amazing outdoor meals, wonderful trails, and comfortable and well appointed tents. Beyond the site itself, everyone there was so caring, attentive, and knowledgeable. The safari was AMAZING- fun, educational, and we were lucky enough to spot a leopard and even a jungle cat. This is thanks to a keen eye and ability to know where to go, which was also away from the really busy sites so it felt much more private and enjoyable than expected.

Amazing place and service. The room was beautiful, big and very confortable. Pali, Our guide with whom we did the safari was very nice and had lots of knowledge to share. We learned a lot during the safari with him. The staff were very caring and accomodating on specific diet and dietary requirements and the food was very good. I would definitely go back if I had the chance to travel there again.

Big Game - Yala by Eco Team is located on the edge of Yala National Parks, a 20-minute drive from the Katagamuwa park entrance. This is a very well run camp close to Yala NP. We stayed in a family tent which was great with two tents joined together and plenty of space. Dinner is outside around a fire, which is very atmospheric. Nice small details with tasty afternoon tea and some activities such as basketball and badminton. Great place to stay, with excellent staff.
