This was the best place in all of Sri Lanka! This safari camp really gives you the whole experience and just makes your vacation in Sri Lanka complete. We absolutely loved it here. The people are SO nice and professional and everyone just makes an effort to make your stay perfect. We especially really liked Ruan. He is the manager of the camp and just goes above and beyond for the guests. Our safari was also perfect and we saw the Sri Lankan Big Five in one dusk safari! It was just incredible. For everyone who is planning on visiting Yala National Park. This is THE BEST place to stay and will give you the best experience and memories. We will definitely come back.

Location is beautiful. Service was outstanding! Food was delicious and they accommodated my daughter’s celiac. He even cut us fresh coconuts. Room was very comfortable and clean.

Boasting accommodation with a balcony, Kalimetiya Beach Cabana is set in Hungama. The hosting family is really friendly and the location is also great. We stayed there for 1 night and had a really tasty breakfast in the morning. Their home is located just 10 minutes to the beach and very close to the mangrove. The family also offers a boat tour with their catamaran. If you want to stay at a sri lankan home, this place is perfect for you.

With Tangalle Beach reachable in a few steps, Turtle Wood Cabin provides accommodation, a restaurant, a private beach area, a garden and a bar. A beautiful cabin 3 minute walk from the beach where turtles come an lay their eggs every night. It’s forbidden to go alone one the beach after 7 at night since then the turtles will arrive. There is a Turtle watch center just by the beach where 25 volunteers work to support the turtles and all tourist can join the watch from 7:30 when it’s getting dark. It cost 2000 rupees if they find a turtle and free if not (which is extremely unlikely). The beach was private with few tourists

Priyantha and his team went out of their way to look after us and create a beautiful environment for our short stay. The Sri Lankan breakfast and dinner were both delicious and ample sized!

Beautiful stay that transported me away to nature. The camp was stunning, with amazing outdoor meals, wonderful trails, and comfortable and well appointed tents. Beyond the site itself, everyone there was so caring, attentive, and knowledgeable. The safari was AMAZING- fun, educational, and we were lucky enough to spot a leopard and even a jungle cat. This is thanks to a keen eye and ability to know where to go, which was also away from the really busy sites so it felt much more private and enjoyable than expected.

Nestled amidst forest and lake bordering the national park and close to the quieter Katagamuwa gate, Leopard Trails tented camp allows guests to experience the wilderness in comfortable air... Location, size of room, facilities, food, friendliness of staff - everything was top class!

Big Game - Yala by Eco Team is located on the edge of Yala National Parks, a 20-minute drive from the Katagamuwa park entrance. The luxury tents were so thoughtfully prepared, with the softest fluffiest towels we’ve had in Sri Lanka. Great relaxation areas dotted around the property. Staff were exceptionally helpful, and we loved the dinner around the campfire, complete with linen table service. We really felt like we had stepped into a 5-star glamping experience.

Offering garden views, Mahoora - Yala by Eco Team is an accommodation set in Yala, 8.5 km from Situlpawwa and 28 km from Tissa Wewa. The place is amazing, if you're really looking for the feeling of being on a safari, I highly recommend it! They offer outdoor dinner with barbecue preparation, and then a night walk, we even saw a porcupine! We booked the safari with them, you wake up at 5 in the morning and enter the natural park at sunrise. The tents are spectacular, very well decorated and with all the comforts. The shower had hot water. I loved this place so much and I would definitely go again. The personal was really helpful. Thank yoooou
