15 km from Askham Hall in Penrith, Inglewood Shepherd's Huts offers accommodation with access to a hot tub. There is a private entrance at the campground for the convenience of those who stay. We loved everything about our stay. The property was super clean, tidy and cosy. We could instantly see every little detail had been well thought out upon our arrival. We have already recommended Inglewood Shepherd’s Hut to our friends and we can’t wait to stay again.

Everything you could need for a few nights away. Couldn't fault Dawn, she was excellent help before during and after. Wonderful host.

The caravan is very spacious and modern with comfortable beds. The views over the lake are stunning and it is a 2 minute walk from a great onsite bar and a beach, there are also fantastic water sport facilities. We enjoyed the space and had a lovely relaxing experience.

Set within 12 km of Derwentwater and 24 km of Buttermere in Keswick, The Huts at Highside Farm features accommodation with seating area. the well thought out design of the pod! not too scrummy but spacious enough for my family! my daughter loves the bunk bed.

Offering garden views, Hill Of Oaks is an accommodation situated in Windermere, 46 km from Derwentwater and 50 km from Askham Hall. The Lakeside Glamping pod was really well thought out. There was a fully stocked 'kitchen' (utensils, mixing bowls etc) with 2 electric hobs and a microwave. Welcome pack with 2 mini bottles of wine, and bare essentials (biscuits, mini milk jiggers, tea, coffee, hot chocolate) presented nicely on the table. Bathroom contained mini toiletries like a hotel room would, and there was a small washing up pack by the sink (sponge, washing up liquid, 2 x tea towels and a cloth). If you arrive late and night and haven't been to the shops it was these little finishing touches that were lovely. There was also at least 6 USB sockets in addition to plugs, as well as a torch. Lots of local information in a folder including walks and stile free walks/trails for the less mobile.

Howbeck Lodge, a property with a garden and a terrace, is situated in Hesket Newmarket, 30 km from Askham Hall, 41 km from Buttermere, as well as 26 km from Brougham Castle. Super friendly owner, who were wonderful and helped us in any and everyway they could. Idyllic location, close to a small village pub. This is a real gem in a cosy little part of the lake district.

Situated in Grange and only 25 km from World of Beatrix Potter, Guides Getaway features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Beautiful location , clean and extremely peaceful

Woodmans Huts is a recently renovated campground in Haverthwaite, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. Lovely little hut, had everything you need and could ask for. The hut has underfloor heating.

Located in Flookburgh, Haven Lakeland 3 Bed Luxury Caravan offers a heated pool. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. The caravan was lovely- clean and comfy. Everything you needed including towels tea towels etc Host thought of everything with some treats left - and some for our grandchildren - not expected but appreciated and a lovely touch- correspondence with owner second to none- he really wanted to make sure we had a great time
