The facilities were great, very clean and the staff was very friendly. We even found milk in the fridge and some butter in the bread bin. That was great. The chalet we stayed in was also dog friendly, we had a little yard that our little doggie could run around in. The outdoor space is great, with ample seating and a braai area.
Lovely and comfortable cottage with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The room, kitchen/living area, and bathroom are big and comfortable. The place is very clean.
Loved having a cup of coffee on the stoep as the sun came up. Was very peaceful and tranquil. People are friendly and make you feel at home. I will recommend a stay at Peacock Guesthouse.
Beautiful spacious property with great facilities. Gorgeous lakeside position with stunning Mountain Views. Very peaceful and private and felt very safe. Ideal for a relaxing few days. Choice of traditional and gas barbecues with plenty of wood supplied.
It was lovely sleeping under the stars.The pod was well equipped and we enjoyed our time in the hot tub. The wood was great quality for barbecue and the hot tub.
We also learnt that we can use pine cones as fire starters. It was private, great place to spend quality time with your partner. We also enjoyed the wine tasting on the farm. And great activities in the area. The Mountain View from the bed is great. My partner and I thought the mountains around were trolls. 🤣
Beautifully built and furnished cottages, with attention to all the big and small details. Very friendly and caring hosts. Dramatic mountain backdrop and excellent fauna and flora watching. The picnic basket was superb. We will definitely be back!
The house met the expectations set by the listing and more. We loved having aircon in every room . Our hosts were beyond helpful . We wish we had more time to enjoy the farm because the dam was such a beautiful spot to swim and picnic by
