Enjoy the great outdoors at a campground or RV park. Sleep under the stars in a cabin or bungalow, pre-pitched tent, RV, or caravan. Communal kitchens, bathrooms, and recreational facilities are available, and most campsites will have a reception desk.
This is a basic hut with the kitchen in a lean-to and open to the outdoors, a long drop composting toilet and an outdoor shower. We were prepared for and enjoyed this simple, peaceful hut located above the beach with views of the sea. The living area was snug with a lovely view towards the sea. We enjoyed our stay.
Absolutely stunning view! Starry night sky which I might have never seen before. Absolute remote location, very quiet and access to beach.

Quiet at this time of year (March) not many other campers. Beach was nice. The cabins were clean and comfortable. Neighbours next door liked to slam their door when up at night to use facilities.
The location was perfect, halfway almost, between Takaka & Collingwood. The house was spotless, well appointed, private with deck overlooking the sea & beach. Lovely greeting when checking in. Despite being rural there is a lovely gift shop & bakery on the road to the camping ground.
The location is fantastic - right on the beach. The facilities are great if you're camping.
