It is a unique experience. The tent rooms are so cute and had nice details. The staff was so warm and welcoming. Loved our stay! We did the morning safari with them and had a great experience. Our female ranger was so wonderful. She is sweet, smart and tells great stories to fill the time while you are waiting to see spot the animals. I would recommend going with them for safari. They really go above and behind. Also we had coffee and tea in the jeep! So cool.

This camping site is in a good position.Afternoon walk and afternoon tea are free so far, especially afternoon walk is worth to go for,I saw a lot of monkeys and birds, because we just walked beside the fence of Yala National Park.
The dinner is delicious, including a bowl of soup ,roast chicken and sea fish, dessert,of course it’s not free.In the night, I saw some of the fireflies.when I waked up,I heard different birds singing. It’s very nice.
You can take a hot shower in the tent.but the water is salty.
Only 1.9 miles away from Yala, our adventure spot is nestled in the heart of the forest.

Rivosen Camp Yala Safari was awesome! Manjula and Buddika smile’s were very contagious, always making sure we had everything we needed. They have few meal package options, and I highly recommend selecting one, because Buddika cooked multiple Sri Lankan dishes (vegetarian options available) for us and each of them were absolutely delicious.
The camp is situated at the border of Yala National Park, therefore during our stay, we saw different wildlife crossing the campground. The location was also very convenient as it is only 15 minutes from the entrance gate of the park. Manjula kindly helped us to organize a Safari tour for the following morning.
During our fresh up shower, we had many eyes watching us, as cute frogs and friendly geckos were co-habituating the bathroom.
The bed was very comfy and the hotel-like linen were as white as we ever seen in Sri Lanka so far.
This place was the perfect little nature retreat, and we loved everything about it. We were spoiled with delicious food, kindness from the owners and an amazing wildlife experience. Manjula and Buddika will do everything to make you happy.

Enjoy the great outdoors at a campground or RV park. Sleep under the stars in a cabin or bungalow, pre-pitched tent, RV, or caravan. Communal kitchens, bathrooms, and recreational facilities are available, and most campsites will have a reception desk.
We enjoyed a lovely homestay on the edge of Yala National Park. The young host warmly welcomed us and arranged a visit to the local temple and beach on the evening of our arrival. The following morning, he took us on a safari, providing a delicious picnic breakfast. The evening meal featured a delectable Sri Lankan curry. As a farewell gesture, the host serenaded us with two beautiful flute tunes. It was a truly memorable and enjoyable experience.
Yakaduru is the best safari and camping place. You can reach the camp easily from the main road using any vehicle. The accommodations are good and offer a unique village-like experience.
The safari is excellent, and you can request specific things you need. They arranged our food as we requested, packing it for our safari trip. The stay was comfortable and friendly.
Initially, we only planned to go on the safari, but we also enjoyed a BBQ night, a 2-hour bush walk, and a beach drive. It was a great experience!
Leopard Nest Glamping in Yala offers a unique and luxurious camping experience amidst nature. The tents are well-appointed with comfortable beds, private bathrooms, and stunning views of the surrounding wilderness. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a memorable stay. The location is perfect for safari enthusiasts, providing easy access to Yala National Park where you can spot leopards, elephants, and other wildlife. Overall, it's an ideal spot for those seeking adventure with a touch of comfort.
staying here exceeded all our expectations! The chalet is amazing and the staff does everything they can to make your stay unforgettable. The host knew a lot about nature and the animals that live in the area. We had a bush walk, a cup of tea with the sunset. An adventurous ride in the dark to the beach, a campfire with a beer and a delicious dinner. Recommended !
We stayed in the tented lodge for one night. The lodge is amazing. It is beautifully built, very clean with mosquito nets on every entrance and window. The open air bathroom rounded up the glamping experience. There is electricity and even wifi in the tents. We booked two safaris and one starlight BBQ. The safari organisation went smooth and the guides were really good. The dinner was outstanding and one of our highlights of the whole vacation. The owners are super friendly. Would definately recommend!
Have never seen alive trees inside room. Had feeling that I live in camping but with all modern appliances and city comfort. Very friendly and helpful stuff and manager, who made our stay more comfortable than we expected! Recommend to get complimentary round trip first to see places around. Take a walk to sand dunes on sunset, visit Kirinda beach and town and ask to rent Yala safari from hotel only!
Yakaduru Yala offers a remarkable camping experience within Sri Lanka's Yala buffer zone. The standout feature was the exceptional safari they organized, providing a close encounter with the region's diverse wildlife. The enchanting live flute music atop Yakaduru rock during sunset added a unique touch to the serene atmosphere. The campsite's perfect blend of nature, adventure, and cultural elements made it an unforgettable stay. Highly recommended for those seeking an immersive and harmonious connection with the beauty of Yala.
The camp site was super organised, a great glamping experience. It was a bit out the way of any restaurants etc so we opted to have the dinner there, which was quite pricey, but a sweet atmosphere with the candles.
Wonderful camp site close to the nationalpark. The awesome staff organized a beach dinner for my wifes birthday. Just us, at the ocean close to the entrance of the main gate, in the middle of nowhere. It was the most magical experience and i can recommend this to everyone. The camp itself is amazing! You have your private little pool, an outdoor bathroom and a beautiful glam tent.
Great place to stay in Yala for very reasonable prices with including Yala safari. The tents were very clean, spacious, and comfortable with amazing showers. They were able to seamlessly arrange our safari through Yala, where we saw elephants, water buffalo, monkeys, deer, and leopards. The food was absolutely incredible and the camping staff were great. This place definitely lived up to our expectations.
