Great experience of camping/glamping. Dinner setup was superb and the staff provided excellent service to our requests. Ruwan was an excellent camp manager and earl our safari guide was amazing too.
Also the booking process of additional items on whatsapp was great.

My stay at Kulu safari was amazing!
The staff are so attentive, a special thanks to Praba…. He made my 2 nights so amazing.
The „tents“ (it stretches the reality to call them tents) are so luxurious… fantastic bathrooms
Praba made sure that I got my wish to see a leopard. The grounds are so beautiful and peaceful. The food was the best that I’d had during my while holiday is Sri Lanka - both local as well as western!
I can highly recommend a stay

We had an unforgettable two-night stay at Yala Wild House, and I can't recommend it enough! The accommodation is perfectly nestled in the heart of nature, offering an immersive jungle experience. The wildlife here is abundant, with vibrant birds all around and the stunning starry skies at night—a true paradise for nature lovers.
The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making for a peaceful retreat after a day of exploration. What really made our stay exceptional, though, was the owner. He is the most welcoming, kind-hearted person you'll ever meet, and his passion for Yala National Park shines through in everything he does. He went out of his way to make us feel at home, even helping us arrange a safari at a very reasonable price.
The food was another highlight. The family serves up traditional Sri Lankan dishes that are both flavorful and satisfying. Every meal was a delight!
If you're looking for a genuine, off-the-beaten-path experience in Yala, Yala Wild House is the place to stay. The combination of great hospitality, incredible surroundings, and delicious food makes it a truly special spot. Highly recommended!

The relaxed atmosphere was really conducive to getting to know others. The tent setting was really cool especially when the Langurs jumped on our tent in the morning…

The tent experience was cool. They had power and hot showers which was nice. Also private toilet in tent. Lots of activities/options for things to do.
Safari was ok but individual experiences will differ.
Nestled amidst forest and lake bordering the national park and close to the quieter Katagamuwa gate, Leopard Trails tented camp allows guests to experience the wilderness in comfortable air...

Amazing view and scenery. It’s the most unique place I’ve been to. The tents were comfortable and you shower under the stars! Its covered so that you have your privacy. The safari that they arranged was also good. The food was great and on one night they arranged a barbeque on the dune, under the stars! Just unforgettable and way better than staying in a standard hotel!

The owners were super friendly and willing to make our stay and safari as pleasant as possible.
Enjoy the great outdoors at a campground or rv park. Sleep under the stars in a cabin or bungalow, pre-mounted tent, RV or caravan. Communal kitchens, bathrooms and recreational facilities are available, and most campsites will have a reception desk.
We enjoyed a lovely homestay on the edge of Yala National Park. The young host warmly welcomed us and arranged a visit to the local temple and beach on the evening of our arrival. The following morning, he took us on a safari, providing a delicious picnic breakfast. The evening meal featured a delectable Sri Lankan curry. As a farewell gesture, the host serenaded us with two beautiful flute tunes. It was a truly memorable and enjoyable experience.
Yakaduru is the best safari and camping place. You can reach the camp easily from the main road using any vehicle. The accommodations are good and offer a unique village-like experience.
The safari is excellent, and you can request specific things you need. They arranged our food as we requested, packing it for our safari trip. The stay was comfortable and friendly.
Initially, we only planned to go on the safari, but we also enjoyed a BBQ night, a 2-hour bush walk, and a beach drive. It was a great experience!

The tents are well-appointed with comfortable beds, private bathrooms, and stunning views of the surrounding wilderness. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a memorable stay. The location is perfect for safari enthusiasts, providing easy access to Yala National Park where you can spot leopards, elephants, and other wildlife. Overall, it's an ideal spot for those seeking adventure with a touch of comfort.
staying here exceeded all our expectations! The chalet is amazing and the staff does everything they can to make your stay unforgettable. The host knew a lot about nature and the animals that live in the area. We had a bush walk, a cup of tea with the sunset. An adventurous ride in the dark to the beach, a campfire with a beer and a delicious dinner. Recommended !
We stayed in the tented lodge for one night. The lodge is amazing. It is beautifully built, very clean with mosquito nets on every entrance and window. The open air bathroom rounded up the glamping experience. There is electricity and even wifi in the tents. We booked two safaris and one starlight BBQ. The safari organisation went smooth and the guides were really good. The dinner was outstanding and one of our highlights of the whole vacation. The owners are super friendly. Would definately recommend!
Have never seen alive trees inside room. Had feeling that I live in camping but with all modern appliances and city comfort. Very friendly and helpful stuff and manager, who made our stay more comfortable than we expected! Recommend to get complimentary round trip first to see places around. Take a walk to sand dunes on sunset, visit Kirinda beach and town and ask to rent Yala safari from hotel only!
Yakaduru Yala offers a remarkable camping experience within Sri Lanka's Yala buffer zone. The standout feature was the exceptional safari they organized, providing a close encounter with the region's diverse wildlife. The enchanting live flute music atop Yakaduru rock during sunset added a unique touch to the serene atmosphere. The campsite's perfect blend of nature, adventure, and cultural elements made it an unforgettable stay. Highly recommended for those seeking an immersive and harmonious connection with the beauty of Yala.
The camp site was super organised, a great glamping experience. It was a bit out the way of any restaurants etc so we opted to have the dinner there, which was quite pricey, but a sweet atmosphere with the candles.
Wonderful camp site close to the nationalpark. The awesome staff organized a beach dinner for my wifes birthday. Just us, at the ocean close to the entrance of the main gate, in the middle of nowhere. It was the most magical experience and i can recommend this to everyone. The camp itself is amazing! You have your private little pool, an outdoor bathroom and a beautiful glam tent.
Great place to stay in Yala for very reasonable prices with including Yala safari. The tents were very clean, spacious, and comfortable with amazing showers. They were able to seamlessly arrange our safari through Yala, where we saw elephants, water buffalo, monkeys, deer, and leopards. The food was absolutely incredible and the camping staff were great. This place definitely lived up to our expectations.
