Solo travel in summer with car so useful for location. Nice to have a luxury in a shepherds hut and got 2. TV and inside toilet with mini sink snugly fitted in.
Great view to the left of rolling hillside and of cows, sheep and geese. And a mini hut outside to heat up food..Decent outside shower.
Enjoy the great outdoors at a campground or RV park. Sleep under the stars in a cabin or bungalow, pre-pitched tent, RV, or caravan. Communal kitchens, bathrooms, and recreational facilities are available, and most campsites will have a reception desk.
Very spacious pod, lovely area with beautiful views, owners who greeted us were lovely. All facilities were very clean, shower was immaculate along with the toilet. Pod came with a BBQ and fire pit with a bag of logs for free which is very kind of the owners. Not far from near by villages with shops and pubs. 10/10 would stay again. Will be booking again soon 😊
Lovely host and location topped with a very comfortable glamping pod.
Everything you and in perfect travelling distance to Ashbourne and Carsington water.
Very clean and staff were very welcoming. It was super cosy and we were even welcomed with chocolates 😁 So many things to do around the area and lots of nice places to eat. I would defo go back.
From the moment of meeting the owner to leaving - it was a lovely experience to stay in the glamping pod. Clearly, lots of thought has gone into making the say as pleasant as possible. Complimentary box of choccy fingers, full net-bag of wood for the outdoor firepit and bbq. Great location of nearby village but just far enough off the main road so noise intrusion wasn't an issue.
Comfortable and very clean. Owners were very accommodating. Although bathrooms were in a separate block each pod had its own specific toilet and shower.
Very comfy beds. Lovely views. TV. Barbecue. Fire pit and wood. Parking spaces. Able to bring our dog with. Walking fields. Lots of towns and villages close drive by. Sarah and Peter were very welcoming and helpful.
The owner is really lovely, the site is so quiet and peaceful and the pods are amazing, private, secure and adorable. The pods have a separate keypad entry toilet block to keep them secure and they are very clean and suitable. The local area is beautiful and the pubs in the area are very nice. We used it as a base to explore some of the Peak District and it's super well placed for this.
