Blackbrook lodge Camping pods, hotel in Hulland

Located in Belper and only 30 km from Alton Towers, Blackbrook lodge Camping pods provides accommodation with lake views, free WiFi and free private parking.

The site was quite and overall very clean The toilet block was a bit dated inside but the main thing is it was spotless.. The pot washing area was excellent.. I stopped in a Pod which was very cosy; it had a large fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, cutlery and plates. It came with complimentary tea and coffe which was great.(a bottle of water would be a good addition to fill the kettle)😉 Also the bed was very comfortable I can’t fault the fishing lake which is well stocked. I had a great 2 night stay and will definitely return

Very spacious pod, lovely area with beautiful views, owners who greeted us were lovely. All facilities were very clean, shower was immaculate along with the toilet. Pod came with a BBQ and fire pit with a bag of logs for free which is very kind of the owners. Not far from near by villages with shops and pubs. 10/10 would stay again. Will be booking again soon 😊

From the moment of meeting the owner to leaving - it was a lovely experience to stay in the glamping pod. Clearly, lots of thought has gone into making the say as pleasant as possible. Complimentary box of choccy fingers, full net-bag of wood for the outdoor firepit and bbq. Great location of nearby village but just far enough off the main road so noise intrusion wasn't an issue.

The owner is really lovely, the site is so quiet and peaceful and the pods are amazing, private, secure and adorable. The pods have a separate keypad entry toilet block to keep them secure and they are very clean and suitable. The local area is beautiful and the pubs in the area are very nice. We used it as a base to explore some of the Peak District and it's super well placed for this.
