Situated within the Amakhala Game Reserve, Safari Lodge - Amakhala Game Reserve is a thatched lodge offering an outdoor swimming pool, garden and sun terrace. The Port Elizabeth Airport is 88 km away.... The staff was simply amazing, everyone was so nice and cheerful especially our buttler Anathi. The lodge itself is also very nice with clean and comfortable rooms. Our ranger was so dedicated and knowledgable and made sure we always got to see what we wanted. Thank you Mr President! The drives themselves were great, plenty of animal to see too.

Located in the heart of the Amakhala Game Reserve, Woodbury Tented Camp offers an authentic outdoor experience in safari tents. The camp overlooks the ancient floodplain of the Bushmans River. Didn't know what to expect from this Game Reserve, but was over the moon to find a real gem of a place. Wonderful, friendly staff, delicious food, best rangers, going out of their way to find you every animal that you request. Special shout out to Lenny best guide ever! Accommodation was clean and comfortable. Planning on bringing our whole family here in the near future. Would I recommend this place to family and friends 100% yes!

Situated in the Amakala Big Five Game Reserve, Bush Lodge offers an intimate lodge experience. It features an outdoor swimming pool, viewing deck and a number of game drives and bush walks. Our three days at Bush Lodge were amazing. The accommodation was perfect (we appreciated the private plunge pool and loved the large comfortable bed). The meals varied and delicious. Most of all were the six game drives with James (JD) at the helm. We saw a wide variety of animals including 4 of the Big 5. Thanks to a wonderful team for making our little vacation memorable.

Offering an intimate Big 5 safari experience, Quatermain's 1920's Safari Camp features a boma bonfire and BBQ facilities. It is located in the Amakhala Game Reserve. fantastic game drives, and an even more wonderful and knowledgeable staff!

Gorah Elephant Camp is situated in the malaria-free Addo Elephant National Park. It features a spacious swimming pool and an open patio offering views of the water hole. Free Wi-Fi is available. Everything was done superbly well. From the service, to the food, to the decor and creature comforts. Wildlife at the watering hole behind the main house is plentiful - we even saw elephants and rhinos there. The safari tent style rooms are well spaced, oversized and well appointed. Special shout out to the guides that took us out 7-9hrs a day on drives and bush walks. Incredible experience overall.

Witmos Oxwagoncamp is located in Somerset East and offers a garden, a terrace and a shared lounge. This luxury tent provides free private parking and a shared kitchen. Beautiful spot and comfortable sleep. Well equipped kitchen and all amenities for a good braai. Loved the place. Very nice people to help out.

Boasting sea views, The Tsitsikamma Pyramid offers accommodation with a bar and a patio, around 37 km from Bloukrans Bridge. This luxury tent has a private pool, a garden and free private parking. Amazing location with a view of the ocean. The Pyramid itself was unique. Loved being able to drive from the lodge to our room in the golf cart!

Located in Thornham and only 27 km from Bloukrans Bridge, The Dome - Misty Mountain Reserve provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Location. Location. Location. We have never stayed in a more idyllic place. The dome is a fully kitted out ecolodge with some of the most amazing views of the sea during the day, sunset at dusk and then the stars at night. It is so private you cannot hear anything apart from the sound of the sea crashing and the wildlife in the trees. It has an AC unit so despite being a glass dome doesn't get too hot. It has a smart TV that comes out from the end of the bed, so you can snuggle up at night and watch a movie. It has a BBQ and picnic Braai hampers are provided on request so you can BBQ whilst watching the sun go down. We didn't use the hot tub because it was too warm but could imagine this would be lovely in the cooler months.
