Situated within the Amakhala Game Reserve, Safari Lodge - Amakhala Game Reserve is a thatched lodge offering an outdoor swimming pool, garden and sun terrace. The Port Elizabeth Airport is 88 km away.... This Lodge was by far the best location we visited during our stay in Africa. We had Desmond as a game driver. He was very knowledgeable and funny. It was a real pleasure dooing the outings with him. They also had a system in which everybody was assigned to a waiter. Sheldon the waiter was also amazing.

Located in the heart of the Amakhala Game Reserve, Woodbury Tented Camp offers an authentic outdoor experience in safari tents. The camp overlooks the ancient floodplain of the Bushmans River. Great staff. Service was awesome. We saw so many different animals and were very happy. Lovely place. Great ranger who explained everything in great detail. We recommend staying two nights at least. Book early! Breakfast, lunch and dinner were delicious. They take care of all the needs you might have.

Situated in the Amakala Big Five Game Reserve, Bush Lodge offers an intimate lodge experience. It features an outdoor swimming pool, viewing deck and a number of game drives and bush walks. I absolutely loved everything about this stay! All of the staff were so attentive, friendly and professional. They really made me feel at home. All of the little touches and attention to detail were so appreciated and made the stay extra special. The setting was idyllic, the ‘tent’ was lovely and comfortable and the food was delicious. The game drives blew my mind. I still can’t believe all of the animals we were able to see. I kept track and we saw 62 different animals over the 6 drives! The interactions were just incredible. That was thanks to Jono Vision! Jono’s passion and enthusiasm for the animals and his commitment to making sure we were well taken care of was next level. This was my very first safari and the bar has been set high! Thanks to all who made it such a great stay!

Offering an intimate Big 5 safari experience, Quatermain's 1920's Safari Camp features a boma bonfire and BBQ facilities. It is located in the Amakhala Game Reserve. Everything was superb! Friendly staff, luxury accommodation and they made us feel extremely welcome. I would highly recommend Quartermains Safari camp. The animals seen, was an added bonus to the whole experience! We will definitely be back

Gorah Elephant Camp is situated in the malaria-free Addo Elephant National Park. It features a spacious swimming pool and an open patio offering views of the water hole. Free Wi-Fi is available. Fabulous game drives, wonderful food and very attentive and flexible staff.

Featuring sea views, The Storm Hive - Misty Mountain Reserve offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a bar, around 37 km from Bloukrans Bridge. One of the most beautiful places we ever been so far!! The view and the hive itself was stunning!! Its even better then on the pictures!! If you want a trip at the Garden Route you have to visit this place! But the most beautiful are the people there. They are so lovley and thankful, i appreciate it that the most! Boasting a garden, pool with a view and mountain views, The Cacoon Tsitsikamma is set in Stormsriviermond. The sleeping area inside the cacoon is stable enough to have a good night's rest whilst still feeling that you are sleeping in a tree house. The hanging net between the leaves was our favorite area to relax and take it all in! Can't fault any of the facilties including the restuarant and bar

I loved the privacy it provided, allowing me to truly unwind and escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The facilities were top-notch, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. From the cozy interiors to the beautiful outdoor spaces, every detail was thoughtfully designed to enhance the experience. I couldn't have asked for a better getaway—every moment spent there was simply amazing. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat!

Beautiful surrounding, amazing star-gazing nights and the exceptional service. We really loved our stay here and wished that we could have extended it by at least a night.
