Stunning views over the Ngorongoro Crater from every room. It is this that is the principal reason to choose this Hotel. Everything else was OK but not spectacular. In our case we were particularly disorganised about all our park permits as we self organised the trip, not using a safari company, and a flight delay took our park entry past 6 PM. It was all sorted with help from the hotel but then we were fortunate to have got the mobile phone number of a particularly helpful manager; this turned a potentially disasterous trip into a great one!
Heating in the room is a treat, the Maasai Dance for welcome something special and the bonfire in the evening with sunset view just beautiful. Best was the short distance to the entrance on the other side of the crater as the 'main entrance'.
