Desert Stars Camp er staðsett í Bidiyah á Al Sharqiyah-svæðinu og er með verönd. Gististaðurinn býður upp á fjölskylduherbergi og arinn utandyra. Einingarnar eru með svalir með útihúsgögnum. We had an amazing night here, the camp is further out than the others which gives it a private and exclusive feeling. One of the most beautiful sunsets ever, good buffet dinner & breakfast & fire at night with the stars above was a highlight! Bathrooms are clean, just a bit smelly, I guess that is not to be avoided in a place so secluded! Bed and tent were spacious and comfortable.

The tent is super cozy, I loved the colours, the warmth, and quality. The team who works in a camp are super friendly, helpful and fun. The sky is full of stars. Food was super delicious - strongly recommended to get the breakfast too (it is Omani and very nice). Special shout to Hamid, who made the best tea on the open fire and took amazing pics :) the evening activity next to the open fire on the sand was just amazing - we sang song, danced, and heard a lot about Oman. Thanks a lot!

Sunset and sunrise is great frome hill (5 min from camp). Camp has free transfer from town! Said is a wonderful host. He organized an interesting unique accommodation in the desert, he organized a delicious traditional dinner and breakfast. And he also managed to create an atmosphere of friendship and unity between the residents. People from different countries gathered for dinner, breakfast and just casually and shared their impressions. Said is an interesting, positive, smart person who makes sure that his clients have fun and are interested! I would like to separately note that in the evenings it is great to sit by the fire, tell and listen to stories and admire the stars in the desert. This experience is priceless. Thank you very much. I highly recommend this desert camp!

Nomadic Desert Camp er staðsett í Al Wāşil. Boðið er upp á ókeypis einkabílastæði og gististaðurinn býður upp á flugrútu gegn gjaldi. Handklæði og rúmföt eru til staðar í lúxustjaldinu. Unlike the other camps in the area, Nomadic desert camp is really surrounded by sand dunes. The camp is very authentic. The facilities are all clean and tidy.

Sunrise Desert Local Private Camp er staðsett í Bidiyah á Al Sharqiyah-svæðinu og er með svalir. Gististaðurinn er með aðgang að verönd og ókeypis einkabílastæði. Simple like it should be in the desert. Nice tent in the middle of dunes ( other accommodations are located in the valleys so it is a long way up to the top of the dunes). Here you can simply go to the top of the dunes. The camp is located at a very high dune so the view is spectacular. Only 5 tents. Nice activities like dune bashing, sand boarding, desert tour, quads etc. You can spot the sunrise and the sunset from this camp. The food was delicious and the staff is very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay!

Hamood desert local camp er staðsett í Al Wāşil á Al Sharqiyah-svæðinu og er með svalir og fjallaútsýni. Gististaðurinn er með aðgang að verönd og ókeypis einkabílastæði. Wonderful experience from the beginning till the end. Perfect location few hundred meters from the road which gives sense of privacy and also provides spectacular views over the dunes. Haven’t tried any additional activities offered by the camp - relaxing in the middle of the desert was worth the price. Staff provided great food options - consider all need to be cooked in a simple kitchen. In my opinion this is by far much better option than any fancy camps

We've been looking to find a great desert camp for one night, as we really wanted to view the "desert" and its beautiful sand dunes. After reading a couple of reviews and prices, we decided to stay at Alsarmadi Desert Camp, because most people loved the friendly staff hosting this camp. And the reviews were right! Unluckily our daughter turned sick during our stay in Oman, and we were not sure if we could make it in time to the meeting up (desert pick-up by 4wd-car). Prior the trip we went to a doctor, so we couldn't respect the schedule. but that wasn't a problem, the driver al farouk was super friendly and told us, that we should just text him the time of our arrival and he'd pick us up. as soon as we made it to the camp, we could see a baby camel, and were greeted by baby goats, that we could feed. we loved it, and so did our daughter. the camp is very clean, the rooms are spacious, and every tent has its own bathroom (very basic, but great for a desert). the location is perfect...all you see is sand. there are no other camps around, and you don't see any villages from the camp. the manager/owner Saeed was also super welcoming. The whole staff: camel guide, and cooking staff, were super welcoming. We had dinner and breakfast and couldn't complain. our favorite part was the sunset.. which is quite specacular, watching it from a sanddune.
