Situated in Bidiyah in the Al Sharqiyah region, Rashid Desert Private Camp has a balcony. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. When researching for a camp, i found myself flooded with options and read millions of reviews. They all seemed very similar and offered the same activities. However, this camp’s perfect reviews, especially the ones about how awesome of a person Rashid is, definitely called my attention. And after staying at this camp, i can 100% agree. Rashid made our experience a thousand times better. He made us feel welcomed from the start, made us laugh like few people do, and didn’t hesitate to answer any question we had about his country and culture. He shared the meals with us, took us to all the activities and made us enjoy them even more. He even went out of his way to show us and make us interact with camels and their babies that were out in the dessert, an experience we will never forget! The tent was huge, with a really comfortable bed and a private bathroom (which not many camps have for what i’ve researched). The food was really really good and just kept coming, even when we were full 😅 There was free water, tea, coffee and fruit available at all times for us. All in all, a great stay, amazing experience and the nicest host. Will definitely be back next time we’re in Oman!

Situated in Bidiyah, SandGlass Camp features accommodation with seating area. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. Although we had our own 4x4, the staff came to lead us to the campsite. It was nicely arranged in a way we could all sleep comfortably. Dinner was great with plenty of food to eat. Shower was warm and toilet was clean.

Nomadic Desert Camp is set in Al Wāşil. There is free private parking and the property offers paid airport shuttle service. Towels and bed linen are featured in the luxury tent. Everything has been perfect. The staff is very nice, chatty but never intrusive; dinner and breakfast are a nice buffet, but you are offered dates, coffee, tea, hawla all day/night long. The room is small but tidy and the common bathrooms were always clean.

Set in Al Wāşil in the Al Sharqiyah region, Hamood desert local camp has a balcony and mountain views. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. There are more camps with more facilities and better prices, but if you are looking for an excellent service and have the best experience in the desert, this is your place. Hamood is a really nice person and fully dedicated to his business, he makes the everything possible to make you feel good. The dinner and breakfast have an additional cost but it is a fair price. it was so delicious, in special the dinner, traditional home made omani food cooked by ahmood's wife. Additionally Hamood share the dinner with you and can have a nice local conversation. Hamood also does a small fire at night with tee with all the guest, it is a special moment before going to sleep. The tent is very comfortable, the shower has a good pressure.

Situated in Shāhiq, Alsarmadi Desert Camp features accommodation with seating area. Boasting full-day security, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. We've been looking to find a great desert camp for one night, as we really wanted to view the "desert" and its beautiful sand dunes. After reading a couple of reviews and prices, we decided to stay at Alsarmadi Desert Camp, because most people loved the friendly staff hosting this camp. And the reviews were right! Unluckily our daughter turned sick during our stay in Oman, and we were not sure if we could make it in time to the meeting up (desert pick-up by 4wd-car). Prior the trip we went to a doctor, so we couldn't respect the schedule. but that wasn't a problem, the driver al farouk was super friendly and told us, that we should just text him the time of our arrival and he'd pick us up. as soon as we made it to the camp, we could see a baby camel, and were greeted by baby goats, that we could feed. we loved it, and so did our daughter. the camp is very clean, the rooms are spacious, and every tent has its own bathroom (very basic, but great for a desert). the location is perfect...all you see is sand. there are no other camps around, and you don't see any villages from the camp. the manager/owner Saeed was also super welcoming. The whole staff: camel guide, and cooking staff, were super welcoming. We had dinner and breakfast and couldn't complain. our favorite part was the sunset.. which is quite specacular, watching it from a sanddune.

Oman desert private camp is situated 10 km in the desert at the top of one of the highest dunes at the area. Its a luxury tent and consist of 2 floors . Absolutely amazing experience throughout! There are a lot of activities in the camp to choose from and we can highly recommend the sunset quad tour. The staff was the best and we loved our stay there!

Located in Fulayj al Mashā’ikh, Legend Desert camp offers accommodation with a terrace. There is a fully equipped private bathroom with bath and free toiletries. The location was gorgeous and the tents were spotless and so beautiful. Raouf and Juhel were the most wonderful of hosts, they made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much. They managed to perfect the balance between leaving us to enjoy the tranquility and ensuring we had everything we needed. The food was delicious and it was lovely that Faisal the manager popped in one evening to check that everything was as we wanted. It was! An absolutely magical couple of days, thank you.
