When researching for a camp, i found myself flooded with options and read millions of reviews. They all seemed very similar and offered the same activities. However, this camp’s perfect reviews, especially the ones about how awesome of a person Rashid is, definitely called my attention. And after staying at this camp, i can 100% agree. Rashid made our experience a thousand times better. He made us feel welcomed from the start, made us laugh like few people do, and didn’t hesitate to answer any question we had about his country and culture. He shared the meals with us, took us to all the activities and made us enjoy them even more. He even went out of his way to show us and make us interact with camels and their babies that were out in the dessert, an experience we will never forget! The tent was huge, with a really comfortable bed and a private bathroom (which not many camps have for what i’ve researched). The food was really really good and just kept coming, even when we were full 😅 There was free water, tea, coffee and fruit available at all times for us. All in all, a great stay, amazing experience and the nicest host. Will definitely be back next time we’re in Oman!

Located in Al Raka, Arab desert camp provides accommodation with seating area. The property has mountain views. The luxury tent features family rooms. It is a really autentic way to spend a night in the desert. The hosts were really nice, they even made camp fire. The vibe was awesome.

Nomadic Desert Camp is set in Al Wāşil. There is free private parking and the property offers paid airport shuttle service. Towels and bed linen are featured in the luxury tent. We had an excellent stay at Nomadic Desert Camp in December. The hosts are very welcoming and it is such a great experience to spend one night in the desert. We did a sunset camel ride and sunrise 4x4 safari and both were amazing! The huts are nice and comfortable, shared toilets & shower clean, and the food was excellent. The whole camp is set up in a lovely way - keeping in touch with the nature.

Sultan Private Desert Camp is situated in Bidiyah. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The whole experience was faultless. It is a family run business, created by the father who died only 2 years ago and was a much loved desert conservationist and guide. We were beautifully looked after from the moment of pick up in Muscat by Abdullah for whom no request was too much trouble to our arrival in camp. He acts as the best guide, so you see and experience the very best of Omani hospitality. Rasheed manages the business and Hamid runs the camp very well to maken sure our desert experience is unique. We were lucky to have the whole desert camp to ourselves for the two nights, so we enjoyed private sundowners and stargazing without any interruptions! prompt morning pick-ups took us to a delicious breakfast in the main Nomandic camp. The whole camp has been thoughtfully designed to fit into the landscape with a totally natural feel. The tents are lined in colourful carpets to retain local design feel and comfortable beds. The camp is unique in every way and well worth the adventure. It is completely authentic. The whole team speak excellent english and Abdullah has a terrific sense of humour. We could not recommend a stay there more highly.

Set in Bidiyah in the Al Sharqiyah region, Sunrise Desert Local Private Camp features a balcony. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Our stay at Sunrise Desert Camp was one of the best experiences of our visit to Oman. The camp is situated far away from the village (ca. 10km) and from other camps (there are many!) to get a real lonely desert feel. There are only 5 tents in the camp, placed right on top of high sand-dunes. The night sky is amazing. The food is excellent. The hosts are friendly and helpful. The tents are spacious and comfortable. If You arrive in Bidiyah by sedan vehicle, an extra fee of 15 OMR has to be paid for transport from the village to the camp. Check-out is 9h30. We highly recommend this camp!

Very nice camp with great location in mid of desert at quite and beautiful zoon. The tents are clean and comfortable. Hamood is very friendly man and willing to help and support

Situated in Shāhiq, Alsarmadi Desert Camp features accommodation with seating area. Boasting full-day security, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. Amazing host and staff. Great location. Deep desert trip available for those staying two+ nights - totally worth it!

Oman desert private camp is situated 10 km in the desert at the top of one of the highest dunes at the area. Its a luxury tent and consist of 2 floors . Extremely well run camp - authentic tents, "dune bashing" and camel riding experiences. Ali, Amir and co are enjoyable hosts. Located near the top of the dune with great views of the vast desert. Good food.

Located in Fulayj al Mashā’ikh, Legend Desert camp offers accommodation with a terrace. There is a fully equipped private bathroom with bath and free toiletries. Amazing dessert experience, great staff, authentic feeling!
