Perfect location if you're coming in from the train station and want to walk around downtown. Breakfast is fantastic with lots of hot and cold options. When we walked in with our suitcases mid-afternoon we were immediately greeted by someone behind the bar who checked us in. We had the tiny room, but we knew that's what we were booking. It worked fine for two nights - we needed a comfortable bed and a hot shower, and it was just that.

Great value and location, very clean, modern decor, comfy bed and hot shower, free coffee machine in kitchen area, beautifully furnished public areas.

Very comfortable amd cosy apartment, ideal for the three of us but four would be fine too. Warm, excellent hot shower. Secure location. Short walk to centrum so location overall excellent. We cooked for ourselves both nights, equipment basic but perfectly adequate. Seemed a quiet neighborhood. Hosts helpful and prompt with replies

The location was great; at walking distance from Nationaltheatret station. Additionally there was a tram that stopped outside the hotel. The view over the fjord from our room on the 19th floor is really beautiful especially at sunrise and sunset. Breakfast is really divers and fresh. The cocktail bar on the 21st floor is stylish.

For the same price or less than another night in Oslo you be sitting in a jacuzzi on the top deck looking out at Nordic landscapes, sunset from the ship was unreal, all food and drink was lovely, onboard shop was great for restocking supplies before the next day in Copenhagen. For us it was our way of seeing a 3rd country in 5 days, it crowned an amazing surprise adventure for my Dad, he was blown away

We arrived and departed Oslo using the airport train. The hotel is quite literally 50m from the Central Station. We were allocated a room on the top (10th) floor with a small veranda and great city and harbour views. The room was recently renovated, spotlessly clean and looked beautiful. Breakfast was included in the tariff and was excellent with a wide range of choice of cereals, fresh fruit salad, hot dishes and pastries. All staff were polite and efficient.

Position is fantastic, 5 min to Central Station, bus central, all the buses, trams and underground are very close. Area is fantastic, near Opera, beach, center … Apartment very nice, clean, spacious. The building terrace … is a wonder, full view of Oslo, tables to eat, drink or chat, sun beds . Your own beach!

Anker Hotel is conveniently located next to a tram stop where trams run to Central Station and Aker Brygge as well as being beside the pretty river. Breakfast is amazing. A great choice of breads, meats, salads, cheeses, cereals, hot foods and pastries. it was an unexpected bonus. Lovely hot shower with strong water pressure.
